They may only be two pieces, but they are rather large and demonstrate an ability to smartly choose an artist and design and understand how to properly care for them. I also believe I understand some of the spirituality of tattooing and have been able to articulate that. There are plenty of other people here with more ink than me, and at least one full-fledged tattoo artist (draw4u).

So, how much ink do you have?

I like it, but when I show it to people, they always ask "what is it?" and im like "its a wolf!" and they have to stare at it for a minute to actually notice its a wolf. pisses me off

My friend has a really horrible tatoo, its supposed to be a wooden cross but it looks more like 2 popsicle sticks.

Well, this is roughly what your tattoo would look like. Except that everything white, would be the same color as your skin. It would be ver hard to make out, and you would be constantly explaining what it was. Take to picture to a professional tattoo artist and have them work up something for you.
