Heh.Joker is funny though. He made Batman laugh in The Killing Joke!![]()
Bejermo is spot on with everything he says. And describes what is wrong with fans who can't adapt, or break out of their narrow tunnel vision. His stuff on the mandatory requirments are excellent as well. Anything within those given mandated, you can have fun with, and put your own spin on it. Which Nolan has done.
yeah that Lex Luthor story Azarello did was pretty damn cool! cant wait to see his take on The Joker.JETT: What have you been up to since we last talked? (click to read BOF's first interview with Lee)
LB: I've been hard at work for some time on this Joker graphic novel with Brian Azzarello. It's pretty big and meaty so it's taking forever but it's a dream job and I'm loving every minute of it.
<snip>
JETT: Tell me about that Joker project -- sounds badass!
LB: The Joker project is basically an out of continuity story about The Joker and his relationship with the rest of the criminal underworld of Gotham. It's somewhat like the Lex Luthor story we did, but this one is different in the fact that the narrator isn't The Joker.
He drew the cover for Hush Returns?
What's with all the vemon about this comment? I don't see what's so terrible about Joker being of unknown sexuality.But when you go and say he is "sexually mysterious," you ought to have your nuts cut off so YOU can be sexually mysterious. That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
Okay, I admit, a little too much. But I'm extremely belligerent about this comment. Why does he have to be "sexually mysterious?" Why does his sexuality matter? Why can't he just be a regular Joe who happens to be a little crazy?
But if sexuality has to be brought up, what makes it possible that he could be gay? Is it cause he wears bright colors and giggles alot? Is it cause he calls Batman pet names? As someone said earlier, in The Killing Joke, he DID have a wife and child, which probably means he wasn't gay. Or sexually ambiguous.
