New costume for Batman? Yes or No?

It doesn't have to be cartoony if there's a technological explanation behind it. I remember ppl saying the same thing about Spidey. (P.S A lot times, in the comics and cartoons, Batman's eyes are always white too)

Yeah the explanation of spidermans eyes make plenty sense the way they executed it. But i think batmans would be more difficult to explain. Unless you just give him white contacts. Imo. And the reason why those eyes work so well in cartoons and comics is because they dont need to be explained, theyre two dimensional, and its easier to draw white eyes then add pupils.

Another reason why deadpool works so well you don't see any of his real life flesh in close proximity to his animated eyes. It may prove more jarring to have afflecks real mouth exposed next to cgi blinking emotive eyes.

Some cool tech contacts that go white are really the only way you could get emotive white eyes without it feeling super contrived as to why he felt the need to both add lenses and then make the lenses move. So I think White contacts would be the best way to go the tech would make sense and it would make batman look unearthily and unnerving.

Yeah, that's the way to go. I don't want prosthetics near this beautiful cowl, especially not this far into the universe.

About the goggles on the tactical batsuit ... could they be like Nite Owl II's goggles? I'd be cool with that.

The only change I'd really want is a smaller Bat symbol. Made sense for BvS, where it was a callback to the Dark Knight Returns, but now that he has and he's getting back into the swing of things, I'd like a more traditional bat symbol. Maybe slightly longer ears too, give him a cooler silhouette.

All this.

I want muh Batman

It looks fine to me:

I agree here, because tech contacts would look less cartoony than just white eyes like DP.

Looks like a photoshopped 2D image to me. I'll take real eyes over that any day. Im sorry but i just dont like live action white eyes on batman. Unless they're contacts. Kinda like the guy who does nightwing.

Oh. Cool. Another white lense debate.

*murders self*

"I want Batman to have white eyes!"

"Well, I don't!"

"Well, then **** you and everything you believe in!"

At this point, I'm more annoyed with the debate than anything. If they want to do white eyes and it looks good, then great, but I just don't care that much. It's a stylistic choice in the comics and in animation, because drawing pupils over the mask would look strange. I just don't feel a great yearning to see that brought to the screen.

Grey is too unrealistic for audiences to accept.

Alfred's bow tie needs some armour plating.

Teh panties.

I'm anti-white eyes for live action, at this point.

Oh don't bring up that s*** again, we're all better off without the undies. :o

The white lenses in the concept art still look incredibly bad ass imo.

Those are contacts presumably tech ones and can be seen in another concept art. I also agree that they look awesome there and make him look scary and like a true monster with the way they glow in the dark area created by the cowl.

*Where did you find that this is the first time I've seen that concept suit standing at that angle?

It's kind of refreshing the costume debate has pretty much broken down to white eyes. Like 10 years ago it was that black and gray tights would look stupid, and sculpted rubber was awesome.

I'd like to see a good form fitting cowl and cgi the neck and traps so they can move freely. If the white eyes are done then tech contacts are the way to go imo.

Don't the Arkham games have it where whenever Batman uses detective vision, he gets white lenses over his eyes? I think that could be a good compromise, where the white eyes are something he only uses some of the time.

Isn't this what we got in BvS kind of? When we see him in Lexcorp he has the white eyes.
