Comics New Excalibur Question

From the previews I've seen and from what CC said is coming, the book seems great so far

I guess for me, I can't make a prediction about a book after only the first issue. I thought New X-Men was boring as hell at first, but now I can't live w/out it.

Well this week's issue answered my question. Although she looked way more Asian than usual in this book.

What is Sage doing there anyway? It sort of seems like she appears out of the blue. Is she located in London?

Yes because of the hellfire club

Ah. I've actually never known where the Hellfire Club was located. I guess I wasn't paying enough attention.

Yeah her. She looked pretty damn white in X-Treme X-Men and now she looks like Psylocke.

Sage was taken down pretty easily in this issue to I might add. For someone who is so tactically brilliant she was pretty dumb to try and stop a telekinetic with a gun of all things. She should've taken Jean down before Jean knew she was in the room!

^Very true. I don't know what she was thinking with that puny gun. Hmm, maybe this Sage is from the evil X-Men's world; where she's a lot less intelligent.

there is more to this Sage than meets the eye.....
1)She is wearing the same costume motif as the bad X-men
2) Good Xavier used Sage as a spy for the Hellfire Club.....maybe Evil Xavier is using this Sage as his spy for Excalibur

I can't look at the New Excal art without thinking of Michael Ryan's run on Academy X. The people in those panels look like Icarus and Sofia.
