New Girl starring Zooey Deschanel on FOX - Part 1

One of the few comedies coming this fall that looks like it actually has potential. The fact that it isn't a multicamera piece of crap that's been laugh-tracked into oblivion certainly helps.

I'm definitely checking it out.

Yeah, it would seem strange to celebrate the 100th episode without the star.

"You know what a sick deal is? Friendship."
"That's an unacceptable segue."

Megan Fox and Clea Duvall? Never would've pictured that.

Girl Winston was hilarious.

I wouldnt say I miss Jess either. But I do think they need to give Megan Fox funny things to do

These episodes have been funny, but the show needs Jess. The cast's chemistry is off without her.

I was never a regular viewer of this show, but kind of liked it. That said, I like having Megan Fox on tv now. Since I would assume Jess is coming back at some point, is Megan supposed to be in a spinoff?

I disagree. I never realized how annoying and tiring Jess' forced quirkiness was.

Megan Fox is okay, but she plays a good "straight man" to everyone else's insanity.

I stopped watching midway through S3 because I couldn't stand Jess anymore. I might come back for the Megan Fox episodes. How many of those are there?

I think she has 2-4 more episodes. I can't quite remember.

Like I said before, I think the show flows better without Jess. Her forced weird/quirky act wears thin on me.

Honestly, I like her better when she plays the relatively responsible one of the group.

I don't think they've forced quirkiness from Jess since season 1. Since then, she's cooled down and basically been on the same level as the other roommates.

Winston still killing it.

I want an episode told as if only viewed from Winston's eyes. Should involve Muppets, jump cuts to surprised cats and dance breaks in some capacity.

Winston has got weirder and quirkier as the show goes on.

It's incredible how he jumps so effortlessly from insane to smartest guy in the room and back.

Lamorne Morris is killing it. He's created this very real, nuanced, hilarious character. I love when he tries to make quick, smart alec responses but just can't think of anything.

He's the MVP this season.

Also love that everyone's insanity has started rubbing off on Cece. Schmidt and Co. are such bad influences on her lol

I'll check'em out then, thanks.

I binge watched this show all week. I love it so very much.

"I can do this. I did a one-woman production of A Christmas Carol. 'You, sir. What day is it?' 'Aye, it's Christmas Day!'"

"That was not good."

"..."

"It was perfect."

"Thank you! I thought you'd think that.!"

They sound like Cookie Monster's parents.

The return of Jess brought the flow of the show to a screeching halt.

I didn't miss her.
