it looks like the movement is 5%

the suit is badass.

but the background is becoming very boring.

and it bothers me a little that they are always making that gloving effect iwht photoshop.

I think they're all from the same photo shoot. Don't know what you mean by "gloving effect", but like most people who will see this photo, I'm not an artist or appraiser of CGI/photoshop enhanced images. It's fine, IMO.

the glowing effect from the eyes.
you can see them bright in a dark enviorment but not here.

Oh glowing effect. I thought gloving effect was some artist's term that I was unfamiliar with. Yeah, I can see what you mean, but it still doesn't bother me too much though.

ONLY after a serious war dis the suit EVER show dammage in the books.... it was nearly indestructable.


whoever threw up the optimus image...Optimus was battle hardened already...he was OLD....not a new creation.


I am quite sure by the end of the movie bucket head will be marked up...but in his debue let him be perfect.


Did spidermans siut look better torn up? Kinda..but that certainly not how he came out on the big screen, he is sure to get roughed up by the monger.


but those imperfections will be repaired and buffed out they will not last into other moives..just as Spiderman fixed his gear back to perfection.


Same goes for Batman...as a matter of fact... I don't really remember the suit in Begins getting marked up... but it has been a minute or two since I have seen that film

I'm kind of hoping that eventually we'll get a bit of Teaser image with him reaching to take the Helmet off, leading up to seeeing probably the image we're all waiting for. We probably won't see him without the Helmet until around the time the movie comes out, maybe as a magazine cover. that'd be awesome.

i respect that. but material can be hard but there are always skratches.
i dont even knwo why you mentiond spiderman.
we are talking here about a metal material.

Jut saying when it comes to the suit...at the start of every movie just as was the case with Spiderman....it will be perfect.

I can't believe people are complaining that the suit is too perfect t: come on! I look at it like this, The Mark III is like a race car, everytime there is a race the cars come out looking all shiny and new, and then by the end of the weekend it's beaten up and dirty. Come the next race everything been taken apart, repaired, cleaned up, and put back together again all nice and new and ready for the next race. This isn't a spandex suit that just needs to be washed or sewn up when something happens to it, it's high tech, it needs constant maintenance to be battle ready.

Without his designs in the comics and his help in the movie, lord knows what kind of design we'd be getting, or if one at all.

I remember reading somewhere Avi Arad saying when he saw how realistic Adi drew the suit, that's when he realised an Iron Man movie was ready to be made.

I know the trailers for part 2 and 3 showed some dammage from the final battles in the final trailers

I think Batman is the worst translation to film.
I'd put Charles Xavier, Beast, Hellboy and Sincity as the best translations to film

this looks good...and real. this new "picture" looks digitally created. look how fake it is around the shoulder. it's not natural. look at the lighting and the edges. look at the "metal" where the chestplate meets the neck. it's a cool image, but i'd like to see something real.

You're trying to pick out flaws that aren't there. The light sources are fine. There's a flare from the windows in the back, and a light source hitting him from the front, as well as amplified cast from the lights in his eyes and chest. It was obviously cleaned up in photoshop, because it's an image released for publicity. But it doesn't even nearly look CG.

The only thing that looks off, is that the armor looks like plastic in a lot of areas. which i'm sure it probably is.
