No, because each week, these NJF's get crappier and crappier. This one even had Brubaker, Loeb, JMS AND Slott, and it was still crappy. I don't need to read an interview with a bunch of guys talking about how cool they and their plans are, without even really talking about said plans. It's like they're not even trying.

It's more of a continual disappointment about something that used to be awesome. I really did look foward to coming home and checking out Newsarama for an interview with Joe Quesada. He seemed to really take it seriously, and really put some effort into it. It's not like that anymore, and I think it's from a lack of effort. He doesn't have to do these every week, that's for sure. But he has for close to 2 years, and he continues to. If you're going to do something, might as well do it right, right?

You can't tell me you've never been disappointed in something, be it comics or otherwise.

Dude, I get you. I do the same. In my sad pathetic world, every Friday since BSG moved to Sundays NJF is what I look forward to. And it is disappointing when its this crappy, but thats not going to stop me from buying their comics.

Well then what's the problem?

I never said I was going to stop buying Marvel comic books. I don't where you're getting this from. All I said is that Joe's "I-don't-give-a-****" attitude reflects on their trying to promote their books. If he doesn't care anymore, why should I?

In the end, Marvel wins, because I DO care, and probably will never stop caring. That doesn't change the bad taste I get in mouth everyweek.

That doesn't mean I'm going to stop buying Marvel comics. Like I said, I'm pretty much a slave at this point. It's easy to feel, based on the last few weeks of NJF that Joe could obviously care less about whether or not we're satisfied with them. Which translates into "not wanting my money."

Does that stop me from shelling it out every week, anyway? Sadly, no...
