I love love love this being the plot. LOVE. Love that it's not another "destroy gotham" plot ... at least not to start off.

Does anyone think that, on the boats, the button to blow up the other's ship actually blows themselves up?

The whole "Bring me Batman or the city dies" plot could just be a way for the Joker the villainize Batman so the people hate him for not coming foward fast enough. I wouldnt be surprised if theres some twist involved in the Jokers plot, in typical Nolan style.

That would be good. Joker's laugh and then sarcastically says with Mark Hammil's voice "Sorry Gotham!"

It has that 'childish game' feeling. We all know that Joker's schemes are often childish by nature, but the genius that drives them is what forces Batman to put his skills to the test. This is the perfect opportunity for Nolan to moreso develop the investigative side of Batman.

Yea, it fits in perfectly with what I've been hoping for, Batman messes with Joker so in return he terrorizes Gotham to undermine Bats

I don't know what to think. It sounds good but if this is true I hope there's more to it. I hope the nolans have a big surprise that will reveal a far more complex plan that the joker has and not just give batman/the gotham autorities a choice to make . The penthouse fight and all the rest sounds good. Nolan said some time ago that this time they would really go on a grander scale. So i guess there's more than this. If indeed this proves true.

this is a story for a 5 year old kid. you know tha tthere is mroe to this than we now know.

Perhaps it's more along the lines of 'bring me Batman on a silver platter, because that would be quite belittling to our hero' than 'bring me Batman because I can't easily encounter and capture him myself'. Make sense?

Where would be the fun in that? Joker wants all the attention to be on him and at the same time make Batman look bad, thats what I gather from this. If this isnt fake info of course

Someone mentioned the other day that a poster called TragicVillain at JustPressPlay had some new Joker details. I sent him an email, he says this comes from conversations with higher-ups in the production. Whether true or not its pretty nice info, here's the 2 posts he's given to JPP so far, there's another to come. Seems to dovetail nicely with the sides and other nuggets. Fairly spoiler heavy

ok, well the first part was already confirmed by the sides, so this just adds further validation to what we've all been discussing.

the second part sounds pretty interesting, so i guess the intial discussion here about Bruce having a secret room at the Penthouse where he has back up gear/ does his detective work is pretty much on the ball.

suffice it to say there's a lot happening at Bruce Wayne's Penthouse t:, specially if there's supposed to be that showdown between Joker and Batman.

i was just wondering if they'll be using the Wacker location to have it all go down or if the Joker-Batman face off will take place in a studio replica somewhere so that they can really rip the place up?

I dunno......sounds...iffy to me. I just love that we'll get to see someone fall out a penthouse window.
