This definitely restores my faith in the film.

I'm on the fence.

The writers from Iron Man = Good

Michael Bay = Not So Much

Can he be such an incompitant that even talented script writers can't save this project? Or will their script be so good that even Michael Bay's incompitance can't screw it up? I guess we'll see.

I also say they hold off on Casey Jones until the sequel. Let April be the only human they really trust in this one.

Let's not forget that Michael Bay is only producing this, he's NOT directing.

Yeah, but he doesn't exactly have the greatest producing track record, either...

Yea I wish it was in better hands in the producing department.

man it would be awesome to see what Del Toro could do with the turtles

he makes sure the movie makes a profit and he gets a paycheck.

how is he a bad producer

Because the movies are ****ty remakes that pale in compairison to the original.

I would still like to see Darren Aronofsky in the Directors seat

Eh I can let it slide as Ralph always wanted to be leader.

The first TMNT movie is my favorite movie of all time. I have the greatest memory of seeing it at the theater for the first time. To this day it holds up so well, and in my opinion is the best comic-to-film adaptation.

When I first saw April I thought, even as an 8 year old, that she WAS April O'Neil, the movie is gritty, well-acted, damn good action, has great slow character growth moments (Splinter talking to Raphael anyone?) and of course the ending with Shredder.

The only farse I have with it is that the DVD was released as a special edition with deleted footage this year in Germany only!? Unreal - I'm sure Spykids 3 and High School Musical have 2-disc special editions, but this well reviewed movie has nothing in the US.

I can't see this new film beating the first one for me, but I sure am excited for it, Michael Bay gets too much hate relax people.

When compared to Transformers:ROTF part 1 is really good.I liked it knowing it's flaws but ROTF guaranteed I won't see the next one.

You won't be able to escape it.

Naw I ain't gonna see that or X-men:First Class.Once I've been burned I don't go back for more.

You say that now wait till the real hype starts and the trailers come out.

As for the turtles, Cgi faces and actual suits is the way to go, its mentioned that thats what they are doing in this thread but no link.

Personally I'm ok with Bay being on board, sure he's no Burton, Del Toro or Cameron. But i agree the first transformers was alot of fun. plus hes only producing and he's produced a few films i've enjoyed.

No I really at his point have no interest in the next X-men movie.Maybe a trailer could sway me but i seriously doubt it.I'd go only if a friend is paying my ticket.
