I don't think Rhino would be a good henchmen. He's just too powerful to be a bodyguard, Shocker or Electro could be good henchmen

He's powerful but dumb. Hence he's easy to control.

Spidey's mastermind villain list is a short one. There's the obvious "Master Planner" Doc Ock. Norman Osborn, Kingpin, and maybe Chameleon.

The rest of the notable villains are not masterminds.

I would add Mysterio and Hobgoblin to that list.

That's where Spidey's cleverness comes into play. It wouldn't be too hard for him to convince Rhino that he's being used, then play off the chaos that ensues.

As for Hobgoblin, considering the extremes Kingsley went to to protect his identity and set up others in the process, he definitely qualifies/qualified as a mastermind.

They could go the BB/TDK route and have the "arch-nemesis" (Green Goblin?) appear in the 2nd film. Whatever the case, I'd love to see a Goblin Wars movie with Spidey caught in the middle.

Yeah they could do something similar. I say include the Goblin in the 3rd too. They don't have to kill him in the second.

Mysterio is definitley a Mastermind

And deserves to be seen on the big screen...they could transfer that costume on screen very well with the proper look...plus 3 mysterios versus spidey...all those illusions...it would be mind blowing on 3D
