If Winnick is still dooing the outsiders then im shure thet Connor Hawke is going to join

just look at the last issue of Green Arrow, he was all like "there out of controlle WOGGABOGGA!" (last part added because I'am an idiot)
im almost 100% shure that Connor hawk is joining to be the heart and soul of the team..

It's possible that Bats will be on both teams. Hell, my hope is that they use the direction for the Outsiders I've always wanted to see--the Outsiders basically being the Black-Ops team for the JLA.

But that was JL Elite's job!

Seriously. Ollie and Mia are out of control enough for Connor to confront them; the Outsiders are out of control enough for bloody Checkmate to confront them.

I hope Connor doesn't join the Outsiders, especially if the book is still going to be written by Winick. Then I'd have to read something by Winick; Winick would still be writing Connor, whom he's shafted at every turn; and Connor--now a murderer himself--would probably just become even more corrupted by the morally ambiguous Outsiders.

And as I recall, Connor is actually annoyed at the fact that Ollie is just going to give up his mayorship because of the leeway his opponents hold regarding Mia.

That's ******ed. Connor should help Checkmate shut the Outsiders down if he hates them. That'll fix what's wrong with them without exposing him to corruption as a member of the team. Problem solved.

i really hope dc isn't going to overexpose batman (anymore than he already is) like marvel did with wolverine by placing him on several teams, plus his many solo titles. i love the guy, but he's got enough going on without being on the outsiders. let dick handle the leadership role, he's proven he can. tweaking the roster wouldn't be a bad idea, though. i like metamorpho, katana and grace on the team. thunder's not bad either. they should ditch capt. boomerang jr. and turn him into a villain again. i'd love to see someone like bronze tiger join the team to give them an experienced black ops guy, if that's what they intend this team to function as. i could possibly see how they could add connor hawke to the team if ollie is still funding it and he decides wants to insert one of his own to help steer it in the right direction, but i don't think he'd fit. he's too noble. i can't see him taking part in operations like overthrowing foreign governments. i'd rather see them bring roy back to the team and replace him in the league with connor. i'd love to see atom smasher on the outsiders, but then they wouldn't need grace talents anymore (although they'd be minus a bi-bimbo and who wants that?).

Nearly went crazy with guilt after someone else killed Blockbuster, simply because he was there? I don't know what the hell Winick's doing in Outsiders.

And the Outsiders will be a Justice League sponsored group that acts the way the Justice League Elite did. That's how I'd do it.

that's fine, if he's more of a resource or advisor than a fulltime member. i just don't want him to get anymore overexposed than he is.

i do like the idea of a jle-type team.

And with the way World War III was written, Bronze Tiger will be in the new Suicide Squad

that's good, too. i'm glad he's getting more face time. i really dig that character.

here's a list of characters who i think would be great assets on a team that specializes in covert ops missions:

shade
obsidian
flash
the atom
phantom lady

all of them would be very useful at sneaking into restricted areas, performing recon missions or rescuing others.

I am offically dropping this wednesday. I used to read this book because it had fun, semi-young heroes who i acutally enjoyed. Nightwing and Arsenal had great chemistry as two neighbor kids who grew up together. Not necessarily friends, but were always in the same place and had to hang out together. Jade had the powers of a green lantern but the boobs of a wonder woman. and shift and indigo had one of the oddest but enjoyable relationships in comics.

Now, the focus is on a stereotypical lesbian love story. both of them are minorities by the way. shift has been replaced by metamorpho who has yet to offer anything. Jade is gone and arsenal has been replaced by boomer.

Now I like boomer. I really do. but i think he would serves a better purpose as a supergirl love interest or even a supporting character to the flash. they are 1/2 brothers you know. is this topic EVER going to be explored. so there are my two cents. I would much rather watch Nightwing in his own title and I get my dose of Roy in JLA now.

The Outsiders are of no use to me anymore.

All I still need to do before I completely drop this is pick up the recently released annual. I haven't really liked Outsiders much OYL.

You should pick it up with the Checkmate crossover, then drop Outsiders and continue on with Checkmate.

Meh, I read the first issues of Checkmate, and of course the Suicide Squad arc, but it never grabbed me enough to keep reading it. I had the same problem with Nightwing. Love the character, and Wolfman's doing a good job, but after two issues I kinda forgot about it, so I'm no longer picking it up.
