New Superhero Show 'MISFITS' on E4

Give Joe Gilgun(sp?) credit cause it shows how easily Rudy's crass jokes can be creepy as hell with different mannerisms and tone.

That Lola chick is so hot.

What is that probation worker's problem?

Does this mean Curtis still has zombie powers?

Yeah Rudy 3 was creepy as hell. Wished we got more of him. Great scenes between he and Jess. That last one especially.

I love the female probation worker Lola too. She's quite the mysterious one. Next week looks very intriguing.

I love Jess and Finn's relationship. I like the fact Jess is not afraid to call people out on their BS. It was nice to get more of her backstory as well. Finn's subplot with his stepmom was hilarious.

LMAO the magic word is potato. So freaking random.

Finn's stepmom was hot but I feel he just keeps getting **** on lol

No he has lost his dad and found out his mom was a **** :D

Misfits 4.04
When Curtis's new girlfriend Lola disappears, Curtis discovers that she was never the person she claimed to be. As he investigates further, he is forced to use his power to bring someone back from the dead, with disastrous results. Meanwhile, Rudy and Finn have a disagreement about their shared living arrangements at the community centre, and Jess finally gets closer to mysterious barman Alex.

Episode 3 was great, definitely the best episode of the series so far. Joeseph Gilgun was fantastic you can really see the 3 different parts of his character with the 3 Rudys. Rudy was the best thing to come out of series 3 imo.

Possible plot hole though, if Rudy 3 was in jail then when Rudy 1/Rudy Too got community service, would the records not show he was already in jail? Ah well, no harm no foul I guess 'cos Rudy 3 and the little plot with Jess was great.

I reckon the probation worker is possibly Finns real dad. He seems to have developed a bit of a fixation with picking on him in particular.

I'm loving this series. It is great on so many levels but for me the best part is Rudy. I love everything about the character, I am always laughing so hard with all the stuff he says and does.

"Telepathic, racist, seeing eye dog." That line just cracks me up.

This was a great episode.

Rudy 3 was weird. I was thinking he just had anger issues. But, he was crazy.

The new probation worker is... interesting. I thought he'd just be a tough guy, but he's crazy.

"Stepmother-sucker." :funny: That nicely sums up the situation.

Wow! What an amazing episode! The episode was so dark but in true Misfits fashion managed to throw in comedy to setup the heavy theme, which was all women are crazy or damaged.

Joseph Gilgun is an amazing actor and he really sold the creepy factor with Rudy 3.

The step-mom was hot but crazy. Jess is damaged. Finn's mom was a ****. Lola is hot and crazy.

The probation worker is really scary. I thought Rudy 3 was going to kill him but he was looking for that perfect kill (Jess).

I think the bartender has a power which is why he doesn't go out with women. Maybe to protect them from him? Maybe he has Curtis' old power and he turns into a woman. hahaha

Loved every second of this episode.

Great episode, and I'm very intrigued about the bartender. His story could get interesting.

Don't tell me Lola is some by-product of his resurrection powers?

I could have sworn Alex and Jess saw them sitting in the booth in ep3.

I'm pretty sure that they did.

Now that I think about it, I think that's the only time any of the gang had seen her. Curtis is the only one that interacts with her. Maybe they wanted us to assume he did bring up the fact that they had a trainee probation worker around. But, I guess he didn't.

Poor Curtis.

I hope this show gets a proper conclusion with the new cast.

The new castmembers during filming. From left to right: Natasha O'Keeffe (Abby), Nathan McMullen (Finn), Karla Crome (Jess) and Matt Stokoe (Alex).

Where's that other girl, Abby? We're already four eps in.

So is the Power Broker guy really done with? Shame, I liked his character.

Also is Curtis off the show too?

LMAO when Curtis threw the Guinne Pig and then came on to the Prob Worker :D

Cant believe that we have no more originals in this show! I wanted Curtis to get his time powers back and fix all of this.

Wow. This episode was a shocker. Damn, man.

This one bothered me more than Simon and Alisha leaving since it was out of nowhere. At least with them, you had an idea of how they were going to leave the show.

So far I haven't liked this season of Misfits at all. The chemistry of the cast has gone downhill and the stories are lackluster. I actually remember crying at the last episode of Misfits last season and feeling gripped by the whole 'hooded figure' storyline...This year just isn't up to standard of the previous seasons.

I'm enjoying this season more than Series 3 actually. These last two episodes especially were very reminiscent of Series 1 and 2.

^Agreed. I hated the Super Hoodie arc. Fate...Destiny... Leave that crap for shows like Heroes.

The whole reason I got into Misfits cause they were f--k ups before the storm and do so after.

I doubt it. But I was surprised v that Simons power didn't instantly heal him.

That last episode pissed me off and may me sad at the same time, ugh.Great episode though.

Well damn! I don't think Curtis had to die because he seemed to be controlling the zombie drive to eat the living. It also would have been really funny in true Misfits fashion to have one of the main characters be a zombie.

Rudy was, as usual, incredible in this episode. Especially near the ending when he is talking to Curtis and crying.

Even though all of the original cast is now gone, I think the show is better than ever.
