Transformed Picton into Alaska greatly

So I wonder if they are going to try to connect this to Days of Future Past somehow. I guess they can't screw up continuity any more than they already have.

Jackman, looks great with the short hair.

That picture on the previous page of him from xmen 3, just awful.

Sorry to bring this up if it's been mentioned but does this one disregard XMOW?

X-Men: Days of Future Past simultaneous shooting maybe? :wow:

Are they shooting soon? I didn't know they were that close to shooting.

Though I expect/want to see Wolverine in a Days of Future past movie, I don't think there would be much crossover between the two movies. Though I wouldn't rule out a small cameo similar to the Xavier one in Origins.

Though with the way The Wolverine is going, I can't help but wonder what the status of characters like Gambit and Sabretooth. I really liked Taylor Kitsch and Liev Schreiber. Though I wouldn't have them in this movie anyway (not unless it was a small cameo at the end), but I'd like to see them return at some point in the X-men movies.

Badazz! Now he look like a man who has no memory

Hugh and James Mangold

The Wolverine descends on Picton BY MICHAEL COX

Jackman emerged shortly after 11am to the sound of Ted Nugent’s epic Cat Scratch Fever. The first scene filmed featured Jackman walking through the town’s old hardware doors as a group of hunters loaded their pick-up truck with bags and rifles, drinking beer, revving each other up. The scene was shot half a dozen times and the hype grew as people begun climbing on roof tops to catch a glimpse of him.

Lots of closeup photos in this link.

Speculation on the look:

Since the film will follow Chris Claremont’s Japanese Saga, I think it’s safe to say that this is an adaptation of the opening scene, in which Logan hunts a man-eating bear.

Love the photos of the crowd around him and lining up to try to get a photo of him and watching the filming in the Camden Advertiser link.

I think Days of Future Past is still in the scripting stage so I'm probably wrong. :hehe:

I think what narrows just said is probably what's actually happening in that scene.

Yeah, I'd like to see Gambit return at some point. Personally I don't exactly care if it's Kitsch or not but I do want Gambit back at some point. At this time thought I'd say he'd appear in one of the X-Men films than a Wolverine one. This new Wolverine movie really seems to have a completely new supporting cast.

From set pics It appears the first thing shot was opening scene of WOlverine In Japan during world war II showing first time Wolverine was In Japan.

It appears what they are shooting now shows Wolverine when we first see him In the more present section of film. This Is after he has no memory. Now accroding from leaked script notes that were taken down from website by Fox had wolverine In prison and found by character Zen(who may have been merged Into yashida Character and who may be Shingen's father) and convinced to come to Japan In order to find out about his past. They may be shooting the leadup to what lands him In Prison now. There had been conflicting reports that what they are shooting now Is standing in for Canada or Alaska

I read recently that "Days of Future Past" may start filming in January.

The crowd watching the filming (I think, or just Hugh crossing the street LOL):

That was the status a few months ago. Now it seem that "Spring" is what they're saying now.

It's unknown when exactly. There are conflicting reports that say january and Spring.

Some may not like It here but starting In Spring may be sign Hugh will be In film and they are allowing him time after The Wolverine wraps to promate LM and possibly attend
awards cermonys If he and film gets nominated for awards Including Oscars before taking part In another film as Wolverine.

I think you're on to something.

If they successfully do this, then it's going to be some awesome mind warping stuff right there.

This new timeline formed from time travel seriously opens the door for some incredible things.

Good thought since I'm pretty certain "Les Mis" is going to get nominated, whether or not Hugh does is another story (fingers are crossed), but he's scheduled to film "Prisoners" after "Wolverine" and the timeline was originally January but haven't read anything about that since the original announcement.

Meanwhile, sites are having a field day with Hugh's barrettes LOL - bunch of photos.

It might go without saying, but I liked yesterday's pictures better. :oldrazz:

I love these, haha. That really is a great wig and face piece.

Nice coat Hugh. He looks like the hobo from Batman Begins in that picture where he's waving.

Oh, they definitely look great. Hell, it's already grittier than the first movie just from the set pics...
