I've heard him talking about how he didn't feel comfortable playing the superhero role and would if he could. But then I thought maybe that would mean he would accept a villain role. But it doesn't look like it.

Does anyone remember back in the day when Ryan Gosling was Hercules in the show Young Hercules. that is super hero-esque. Maybe it left a bad taste in his mouth.

Sucks, but at the same time the character of Superman isn't about only flying.

Superman should be an inspirational character, I'm hoping that we get some of those Nolan'ised motivation speaches we got in Batman Begins & TDK for MoS..

The more I think of it the more I'd like Birthright to be more or less 70% of the film, I want Superman to show up & I want there to be some doubt as to whether or not Superman is a friend or foe.. something that Lex exploited in Birthright.

Hmmm, I see alot of (dumbass) posts on other sites claiming that MOS has indeed stalled and that it wont be happening.

I guess that's a somewhat obvious (if not a little overdramatic) reaction for alot of people due to the lack of news lately, also including all the legal fuss.

But just out of curiosity, could it be a possibilty? Could MOS end up being cancelled at this point do you think?

I don't think so. They are more thank likely sitting on info until ComiCon. Because they have been saying that they have MAJOR Superman news to be released then...hopefully it won't be that the film has been scrapped

it will be the suit, but I think they will release the suit before ComicCon because if they release the suit during the convention, they will be alot of mixed feeling about it.

They need the suit to marinate in fanboys before the convention

Maybe they are saving stuff for the con, but in the mean time, that doesn't prevent them from releasing smaller tidbits, like who will do the FX, the score, etc.
