It's going to be 20 minutes -the whole sequence- according to reports.Aiden says it will be same as Spidey 2 as of he's seen the whole thing.

I knew people were going to criticize new footage from SR no matter how good it was.I forsee the same thing with the trailer. If something's good i think you should acknowledge that.

I have to admit we've got some heavy competition from Singer & crew. However, I think we'll pull out the win.

Yes, but there's nothing saying that it was this very same project then, this could all very well been the most recent developments and actually this pseudo sequel to Superman II stuff didn't come along till after Spider-Man 2 was already out.

And Hugh Laurie left? Well there goes the film down even one more notch.

The Superman plane sequence was already in JJ Abrams script when McG and Ratner were attached.Thats before Spidey was made.

Laurie left because -unexpectedly- House became an over night succes.BTW Singer produces that show.

i cant see how Phoenix effect could be THAT amazing. I mean, its just an aura, how can it be something so spetacular? but im looking forward to it a lot, though i think its gonna be only slightly brighter and yelowish than X2' effect, maybe higher...

The problem is that I could point at the X3 clip and laugh, but an X-men fan could also point at the 8 second SR clip and diss it.

We had from TheXverse.com and one of the writers last month but we're still awaiting news.

I don't know... she will be flying and all. Surrounded by flames.

well it was asked by a fan if the effect would be the most talked about effect of teh summer and the writers said they sure hope so! so im sure it looks amazing!

damn this is going to be tough, lol what a summer though, im going to love both movies either way......i just cant help...honestly, thinking that if singer had been on x3, how amazing it would be now....

We don't have to agree on everything. If everyone agreed with me i probably wouldn't come here.

I'll be seeing the world cup too.It's not like have a lot of choice in the matter since WB decided to release SR in August over here.

Yes, I know Singer produces House. Jesus. Did I say somewhere I hate Bryan? No! I said he just didn't make these all powerful super awesome, greatest X-Men films ever...he made decent if somewhat very likeable X-Films with plenty of flaws.

We've seen barely anything from SR so far yet X3 has had so many pics, promos, video footage etc. so how can you already say SR will beat X3? Until we've seen better from SR you can say whether it will wipe the floor with X3!

I think we need to be more scared of MI3 and Da Vinci Code. Those are the main threats. SR will be released over a month after X3. By that time the b.o. numbers will be going down.

ya but you have to admit what we have seen from superman is quality, especially that 8 second glimpse just left me stunned pretty much. (well in my opinion i loved the costume and never hated anything about supermans look) so that all may differ.

but im just saying IMO Superman will be better (singer is a big part of my opinion, lol)

Actually, I don't think we'll have to worry so much aboaut MI3. With MI3 being released 3 weeks beforehand, most of everyone will have seen the movie by the 26th, so I think we're safe with that.

But Da Vinci Code... that'll be some stiff competition.
