NFL - Game On

That game made me so mad. The Chargers absolutely gagged away a game they should've won against a Texans team that isn't that good. Herbert absolutely shrunk in the biggest moment of his career when his team needed him to shine and all their offensive issues were exposed by 100 fold. Interior OL and receiver are major issues on this team. McConkey is the only good pass catcher. Greg Roman is also a terrible OC. That was a bad hire from the start.

Bills
Nix is a rookie QB who won't outplay Allen because he'll make the common rookie mistakes. Allen has a smooth day throwing the football because of great blocking, and the Bills make fewer mistakes than the Broncos.

Eagles
The Packers can realistically keep the game close except Hurts has a great night throwing because of great blocking, Barkley is able to prosper running because of successful blocking, and the Eagles make fewer mistakes.

Buccanneers
The Buccaneers win a high-scoring game because the Buccaneers make fewer mistakes than the Commanders, and Daniels makes the common rookie mistakes.

Rams
The Ram's defense gets pressure on Darnold making it more likely the Rams get critical stops, the Rams make fewer mistakes than the Vikings, and Stafford has an easy night throwing the football because of great blocking.

It really isn't surprising because the Chargers continue to be the classic self-destructing team that chokes in big-stage games.

This is not surprising or depressing for NE fans.

Solid move by the Pats. I think they're poised for a big turnaround next year. Love Maye at QB, but they need to fix their O line and add help on defense. They've got some holes to fill, but have a LOT of cap space. I think NE is showing how to build a team around a highly drafted QB......you draft a franchise QB, have a tough year and then reload. They've got great draft capital and money for free agents. I don't see Hunter being available at 4, but they should have their pick of Will Campbell (OT), Will Johnson (CB), or Abdul Carter/Mason Graham (DL) unless they trade down. With 4 picks ini the 1st 3 rounds (and a high 4th), I go for top tier talent and plug most of my holes in free agency.

If things pan out, I can see the Pats challenging the Bills next season. I threw up a little bit in my throat saying it, but I think it's true.

NFL has to but it won't, go back to the old playoff format the 7th seed have all been outmatched except for last years Cowboys this 2 vs 7 match up is 9 and 1
just non competitive

Great watching football again no worrying about looking at draft positioning and angry

Great game next week between Baltimore and Buffalo

Can we stop with this Herbert is the next great QB they guy throws a pretty ball that's about it
He does need better playmakers

Took bucs at home vs a rookie QB Daniels will be in my nightmares for the next 12 years

Go to the bottom left of the website, where it has a paintbrush and says "SHH Stage 2.0" ( or whichever Style you're using on this site) and change it to Xenforo. It's the only version that's working right at the moment.

Unsurprisingly, the Bills demolished the Broncos 31-7 in a mismatch that became an embarrassment in the second half. A moral victory that the Broncos kept the game close for 1 full half before the Bills bulldozed the outmatched Broncos.

It was "All Too Easy" when the Ravens easily outplayed the Steelers in an uncompetitive game because the Ravens always lead, the game was only tied when it was 0-0, and the Ravens easily scored 21 points in the first half.
The Steeler's defense wasn't even a nuisance since Henry looked like Earl Campbell because he easily ran roughshod on the Steelers defense.

The Ravens outrushed the Steelers 299-29, and the Ravens again proved in an uncompetitive game that the Steelers defeating the Ravens in Pittsburgh was an anomaly because the Ravens easily bulldozed the Steelers in the second game at Baltimore, and in a Wild Card game.

The Steelers have not scored over 17 points for the 5 consecutive games they've lost to end this season, they've never led during the 5 game-losing streak, and they continue to be roadkill that gets outplayed in a Playoff game since they haven't won a Playoff game since the 2016 season.
The Steelers have lost 6 consecutive playoff games all of which haven't been competitive which is conclusive factual evidence that changes have to be made for the Steelers to return to being a team that can realistically reach the AFC Championship game or the Super Bowl instead of remaining an unimproved team that can't outplay the Bills, Ravens, Chiefs, and other far better teams on paper.

Back in September, I bet 5 dollars on each of the following teams winning the superbowl. In parenthesis are the payouts.

Chiefs +600 ($35)
Ravens +950 ($52)
Lions +1300 ($70)
Eagles +1400 ($75)
Bills +1500 ($80)
Vikings +2300 ($115)
Commanders +9500 ($500)

Unfortunately I also bet on 5 other teams who were eliminated so I need to win at least 60 bucks to break even.

Not too bad my man....If you gamble and only lose $25 you're doing well. Hopefully, the Chefs gag.....LOL

Lol, I think he borrowed Herbert's glasses from Saturday. Looks awful lol
Darnold has a better team, but, yeah, as much as I go against the tide on Herbert, he looked really bad. I "think" when he gets better options, he'll be Just(in) fine.

Herbert played one of the worst games I've ever seen a QB play in a playoff game the other night, and somehow Darnold managed to be worse with a significantly better team. Talk about submarining your future and the potential to get paid. Dude totally reverted to the guy he was on the Jets. Seeing ghosts and holding on to the ball forever. Cannot handle pressure at all.

I was going to say the Vikings should franchise him to see if he could repeat his year, but they probably don't even have to do that with this performance. They'll be able to get him backup money.

The vikes dug themselves into a hole early, but, yeah, Darnold looked awful. That being said, the Rams have built themselves a good, young defense through the draft. Up front they are very young and talented (and cheap LOL). Man, I didn't realize just how fast Verse is. He's quick, but he has some very good top end speed. This is a team that has drafted unbelievably well over the last few years and it's showing.

If Stafford can stay as sharp as today, this is a team that can cause some problems. Vikes haven't looked that great lately, but still.....

So---a couple of things come to mind;

McCarthy parting with dallas.
Vikings getting blown out
Texans surprising the chargers

Divisional should be fun
