I have a question for the ladies...

If you were going out to a public setting (bar, club, restaurant, etc.) and you're dressed nice and you're with your girlfriends, or by yourself, would it bother you if no one tried to hit on you or showed you absolutely no attention while you were there; especially if you're at a bar or a club?

if youre with "all your girlfirends" i.e. probably about 5 or 6 is the avergae number....one or two guys who are around, will likely leave you alone, UNLESS

1) you make yourself available to be approached
2) dance on the dance floor
3) a group of 5 or 6 guys happen to be there also.

oooh, question for the ladies.

but im a dude.

That's a good point K'boom. Girls in packs creates an invisible fortress of 'solidarity' :D. If I wanted to be approached at a bar I'd never 'hang with my homies'.

I wouldn't be pissed, no. Of course I don't usually go out looking for a reinforcement of my ego.

Invisible, but NOT impenetrable...you just need the right personality and social skills...that and big brass ones...:woot:

i have been going to bars and cluns since i was 17. its an interesting social dynamic. 5 or 6 girls togetehr would likeley be in a circle to talk to everyone, since girls love to gab. by that, they have automatically turned their backs on EVERYONE else in the bar, creating a bubble.

by going on to the dance floor, you open yourself up.

picking one friend and grabbing a drink you are much easier to approach.

or if you all have to stick together, its better to be in a line. because that way your front is exposed rather than your back.

oh it definetly can be done. but not many guys out there will do it.
its hard enough for most people to approach one girl and strike up a conversation without knowing anything about her.

its is a hundred times harder to have to entertain 5 or 6 of them by yourself, while still zeroing in on the one you came over to talk to. usually not worth the effort.

It's never good to approach ANYONE from the back...it automatically triggers defensiveness. It's human nature.

clearly. i like the direct approach. see the girl, make eye contact. smile, if she smiles back, walk up and introduce yourself.

;)

Yeah true but generally a group of girls going out looking for action would be foolish to stick in their hopack.

I've walked into what I termed the "Lion's Den" before and I pretty much waited and wait for my opportunity. Like when most of the friends go to the bathroom or she's at the bar and they are dancing.

plus you get the drama of other girls in the pack zeroing in on you when you weren't coming for them and then one of them staggers to the bathroom and cries with her mascara running all over her face. :word:

it's like the cheetah picking off the gazelle that wanders too far from the pack :D :p

two bottles of crown.

one objective.

Pretty much. Also if you want to do co-op and have your friend run interference that works too.
