It's not the same angle.. Kai was moving around the stage at the time the pictures were taken..

The stage has three painted "walls"... Two sides have a painted bookshelf.. The middle wall is the "Arabian" sceen you see...
There was a dance class going on.. There were children milling around (but pretty sure none were near kai's right when that shot was taken) and i'm %99.9999 sure no child was holding a little demon doll.
The black shape above the "demon" to me at first looked like a shadow.. However it does indeed look like it has physical form which is making me re-think my shadow theory...

Kai has just informed me that some of the girls were back stage at the dance school and were playing around with teddy bears.... one of them must have snuck into the shot....

So.. kai isn't being attacked by a demon afterall
