Ladies and gentlemen we have an AMAZING villain. #BlackPanther was so good I can’t breathe. AND DANAI GURIRA HOLY F@$&?!?!? I LOVE this movie.

#BlackPanther is hands down my FAVORITE @Marvel movie so far! Also, the women in this movie KICK ASS!!! Freaking spectacular!

#BlackPanther is everything I wanted it to be and more than I possibly could have imagined! Hats off to #RyanCoogler for making an excellent film with great action, a smart story and a lot of laughs, all to a bad-ass soundtrack. @MarvelStudios

It's a shame that so few people are taking advantage of twitter's increased word count.

The ones who liked it seem to only tweet once.. Why is this guy tweeting so many times? :p

Every problem I seen him cite for the film is the exact opposite of how pretty much everyone else is feeling so far lol.

The MVP of #BlackPanther is Letitia Wright's hilarious, ebullient Shuri. I want a Shuri supercut, I want a Shuri spinoff, I want a capsule collection of Shuri sportswear at Opening Ceremony, and I want these things now!

All the praise for the ladies brings me joy. Better late than never, MCU.

#BlackPanther is everything you want it to be and so much more. An experience unlike any seeing a beautiful, black/minority cast kick-ass as the heroes. And what a cast! All excellent, w/stand-out performances by @DanaiGurira & @letitiawright. Thank you #Marvel & #RyanCoogler.

One more thing about #BlackPanther: The fight scenes are mind-blowing! @letitiawright @DanaiGurira and @Lupita_Nyongo are incredible!!!!

WOW. Black Panther will change the landscape of superhero movies forever. Expect and demand more from Hollywood. The stories its denied us for so long don’t just *deserve* to be told — they will save blockbusters from total irrelevance and creative bankruptcy.

So...#BlackPanther. So much to digest. But first blush: Majestic.

Oh my lord #BlackPanther blew me away. Big, bright, bold, intense, awe-inspiring, and deeply, truly meaningful. Loved every second of it.

Stunning visuals. Iconic performances. And A REAL FREAKING STORY about a wealthy nation confronting its role in the world. Black Panther has the goods. Also there’s a post-credits scene. Here’s the premiere crowd racing back to watch it.

Black Panther is epic on the outside, but powerful and intimate on the inside. It feels totally different from the rest of MCU in the best possible ways.

I saw #BlackPanther tonight. It was great fun. Cool world-building, fine performances & a sweet step forward for the MCU! Cool action set-pieces and Wakanda stuff is awesome. Very moving at times and Shuri is a scene stealer.

Saw #BlackPanther tonight at long last, and was so impressed by the characters and world building that Ryan Coogler brought to the MCU. This movie asks the right questions and challenges the right themes, while creating one of the most impactful villains to date with Killmonger.

Hussain@HussainME86
Is it better than Captain America: The Winter Soldier?

Mark Daniell@markhdaniell

It’s a such a vastly different kind of movie, so not an easy comparison. #BlackPanther has a deeper roster of secondary characters and Michael B. Jordan’s villain is among Marvel’s very best.

I like Dave but his rankings of the MCU give me cause to pause.

You guys are misreading his rankings. He listed the ones that he felt were the worst. So he's basically saying the movie is mediocre.

If that's how he really feels than it is what it is, but I'm always suspicious of reviews that seem to be built about going against what everybody else is saying.

I'm not worried.

Seems like an above average MCU movie, possibly top 5 material which is all I really wanted.

Same here.

Consensus top 5 seems to be:

Avengers
Winter Soldier
GotG
Iron Man
Civil War

If Black Panther cracks that list they will have surpassed all expectations.

Yeah, and it gets much harder to make the top 5 every year with Marvel Studios cranking out so many critical hits.

Campea's favorite MCU films

Avengers
Winter Soldier
Civil War
Thor (1)
