It would be absolutely massive there, yeah. I thought that film would get the green light ahead of pretty much anything else around it.

I suspect its not even those movies specifically, but the broader idea of Disney being defiant and *not* just bending the knee on demand over everything.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony decides to do a re-release just to hit the 2 billion market.

I think Sony would really have loved if this made 2 Billion. I do wonder whether they will attempt a re-release of an extended version in theaters.
