Nintendo determined not to suffer slow start.

Nintendo has also been hard at work securing third-party support for the platform, and reportedly have Activision, Sega, Square Enix, Ubisoft, and Warner Bros. on board.


The same sources tell MCV that Nintendo is determined that NX will not suffer the same slow starts as Wii U or 3DS, and that Eurogamer’s report last week that NX is a portable machine with a breakaway controller that can be plugged into a TV is accurate.

Graphics are said to be ‘somewhere between PS3 and PS4.’

“It’s a nice bit of kit, a bit of a novelty, but a good one,” one executive that went hands-on with the machine told MCV. “It won’t appeal to PS4 fans. Nintendo seems set on trying to upgrade smartphone gamers. That’s going to be a big job for the marketing department.”
NX is due out worldwide in March 2017.

and this is why I'm waiting for official word from Nintendo them selves this is a it could be true and it could be bs. from pricing to alot of stuff with the exception of vr which Nintendo did confirm they are looking into. the other stuff is all hear say from people that hiding their names. so til official words said. take this all with a grain of salt. I say half of it's true and there's stuff to be unsure of I got a feeling the NX will still allow you to have disc's play games but cause of the cartridge thing though alot people thing it's only have the latter alone . and it's very possible it's be both dics and cartridge based.


when the original plan was that was always for shortage's and certain people from the third part of the industry being difficult they lean on the 3d's games to keep player happy til they get those people back or replace them.

Again official word from Nintendo them selves is better then someone saying they close to Nintendo. especially when saying price, date and freaking what they say it looks like.

As to the VR un like this stuff of recent at least the people that confirmed the VR thing actually happening atually put their names to say it was true& that they are looking into it.

Instead of all this the NX will have this and that but the they won't give their names, yet claim they are close to Nintendo like that claim that nintendo were gonna launch NX this year . yet there was officla word unlike the VR. which alot of this is pretty much the same of with half truths

hmm truth be told with what Square and more recently ready at down did with putting graphic's first and how costly it was for them. the former doing for a MMo which they were left having to fix their enter corprate structer for it and their ip with FF13 lighting and zero suffering due to mistake which they admited it was dueto them wanting and only focuiong onthe graphic's rather then game play for that MMo's that gotthem into that mess. ....


I'm still trying figure out how readyat dawn gott hem selves intothat mess that they overly focus graphic's them selves . but I don't think focusing one element is good thing. it's a game an intert active experience . tne best way those work is by having all the ingredients

game play first and for most, story. music, art. and the icing (as if it were a cake ) I've always said that. when all those part come together in good way then youy get awesomeness with games .


But there are more games that seem to survive on them having fun game play alone (with the other's mind you) then they do with high end graphic's as the focuse. as others have shown us.

I've always been more of a whole package person. and I like variety. it's why I love all dressed pizza's.

Dude...I have not been negative about anything. I understand you may not see thing the way myself & others see things...that is what make us all unique, in our own little ways. The fact of the matter, imo, this is simply a reverse version of the WiiU. Sorry if you don't like that analogy; but, it simply is. Instead of advertising a new system, giving the impressions they did, they simply could have presented the model that both Sony & Microsoft did, which is a mid-Gen upgrade of its current system; and, not manipulate the public in thinking it was going to be something vastly different from its predecessor. They just took a reverse WiiU, and slap NX on it....then back track a bit, in saying it was not a replacement of the WiiU. Then what is it....well let me tell you; it's essentially a reverse version of itself, with slightly better specs & possibly a better selection of 3rd party games...minus the ability to play back-generation games, simply because they are going cartridge route.

It is what it is; and, they simply should have truly advertise & hype that, moving forward to a new-Gen unit, sometime down the line vs misleading people into believing something not nearly quite true.

no this is pretty much the same as the statement from those same people that hid their names that said they close to Nintendo and they said that they would reveal the NX this year . but they hid their names. these the same people that took half what was stated from long ago as part of Nintendo's plan to deal with any shortage and drout's problems with third party and took the cartridge thing and are running wild with it.

it's possible this platform that's called the NX may use both disc and cartridge. the problem is too many people buying far into too much into the claimers that say they close to Nintendo but hid their names.
