NYU students would give up voting rights for a free Ipod

Just another example of why this country is going down the drain.:whatever: :csad:

Wow. Strong jackassery. :down

jag

I would :o

DE always goes pretty strongly democrat so I might as well listen to sweet tunes while my state votes the way I would have anyway.

How bout giving them out to get people TO vote, instead of the other way around.

The youth of this country just don't give a crap about politics. Myself included.

That is what is wrong with this country.

Voting is bull**** anyway. Might as well get something out of it.

I'm sure more of us would care more if it weren't for the electoral college. It's quite discouraging

Considering I don't have much faith in the American people, much like the founding fathers.

I like the Electoral College.

Even if it's going to elect a Democrate in 2008. :(

I can't think of 1 good thing about it. Everybody's vote should carry the same weight, from Texas to Rhode Island.

I love how you could technically get elected president of the COUNTRY by only persuading all the large states

Remember that the Constitution does not grant you a right to Vote.

Hell, for a free iPod, I would too. F**k it. One vote won't make a difference, just like South Park said.

There's far worse stuff that's wrong with this country than just politics. Besides, how can young people take politics seriously with news stories about politicians soliciting sex in public bathrooms?

It's funny, that's not even my main complaint with politics. It's more how we vote these guys into office

The popular vote is just whatever is popular that season. It could swing way to much and at any time.

Which is why we need something else other than that in place.

I kinda agree with Spoons. NY votes Democrat anyway.:o
