I personally think it was ridiculous. We constantly have threads for dead celebrities and about 20 people make "insensitive remarks". Venom71 was no different. None of us really knew him. Hell, for all we know it could just be a mean joke (wouldn't be the first time in Hype history that a poster used a different screen name to say they were dead only to pop up again a few months later). Whatever Jonty said, I bet it couldn't be worse than what people were saying about the little kid from Zoom who died.

Apparently he was warned and continued anyway. There might've been some other issues involved as well. I miss him.

Yes, especially because I know for a fact that the mods have compared Memphis Slim's IP against celldog's and while they aren't exactly identical they are eerily similar and from the same subnet and IP block. You do the math.

I have a question in general about political threads here. As a moderate (though fiscal conservative...I HATE to spend money) I notice that the discussions in here don't stay discusssions for more than a page or two before the rights and lefts get aggressive and at each others throats...

anyway, I guess my question was, did the right and left ever get along on this board?? And was there a peaceful political discuasion at any time??

When we had the political forum on this board (before Mirko took it away because the only discussion left in community was spam) there was more respect. Probably because a lot of community trolls didn't come in just to throw fuel in the fire.
