Twilight princess needs to be remade for wii u not 3ds. 3Ds has now gotten 2 remade Zelda games and wii u only 1.

You can pop Twilight Princess in your Wii U. I would much rather be able to play it anywhere than on my Wii U in HD.

Agree there is no reason that a game on 3ds shouldn't be able to play on 3ds. New 3ds is not even really a new system the system is not way way stronger like when you go form ps3 to ps4 or something. Most people that buy new 3ds are going to be people that don't have an 3ds. Most people who have a 3ds already are not going to buy a new 3ds.

I rather doubt that. Nintendo itself seems to think otherwise.

Yeah, but you can't pop it into your Wii U and play with traditional controls or use off-TV play. The 3DS has already had two mainline remasters, a mainline original release, and more VC Zelda love with the Oracle games, Link's Awakening and Four Swords. There's plenty of Zelda on the go. A HD remake is just better suited to Twilight Princess than a downport to the 3DS, and we already have the first game from that generation remastered to HD anyway.

I rather doubt that. Nintendo itself seems to think otherwise.

I'm assuming you say this because of the adapter, but I wouldn't be so sure. They've apparently left adapters out of revisions for years in JP and EU, so I doubt that's an indication of anything outside NOA catching up with a crappy trend.

This is true that game trailer video I put up from Game trailers made mention of a trade in of the 3d's XL for the news 3DS XL at Gamestop EB games which lower the price greatly but they did say some people shouldn't rush to do that right a way cause you don't need it unless you have damage 3DS or some other issue like that. Well in the market for a new one. For now.

As to the adapter issue it make sense only if you had the older model not to worry about that, if you had one from older 3DS. But for people that don't have one at all that's is indeed a problem

Trade-in offers are common for new hardware. They did it for the 3DS XL and 2DS, too. Pretty sure GS did similar stuff with PS4 and Xbone stuff when it launched.

yeah well they made that video to put the info out about people that are in the market for it cause someone damaged their current 3D's like Brandon the head editor of Game trailers claimed he did some how & that person may have an adapter for that former model of the 3DS XL.

other wise if the former model you have is in good condition there's no need to hurry for the newer one. Til more exclusives happen I guess.

I think it's obviously a cost-cutting strategy. Nintendo is the king of cost cutting and while I'm sure it costs little to include an adapter, it's still a corner cut on the bottom line. Not that I would defend that or anything. Any new product bought should come with an adapter. It kind of blows my mind that isn't a standard practice in other parts of the world.

I always prefer wii u though has it would be in hd and I am not big when it comes to handhelds and we already have 2 remakes now on 3ds and only 1 on wii u we don't need to make it 3 to 1. Plus TP is a older game and would look a lot better in HD with added texters and such.

I would always much rather play a game in HD. I honestly don't care tho.. Put TP, SS or both on WiiU in HD or on the N3DS.. Just let me play both of them without freaking waggle.

I'd much prefer HD tho.

In regards to the adapter.. Yeah it's really stupid. My son has a 2DS and that's all he needs for the games he plays.. So no big deal for me. Still stupid business choice.. Cost cutting or no, lol.

Also if you have a WiiU the game pads charger will also charge the 3DS.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Introduces Folks From Clock Town. January 19, 2015 . 12:32pm

Nintendo’s official Zelda Twitter account has begun tweeting tidbits about the upcoming 3DS remake of Majora’s Mask.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D will release in less than a month, and the game’s official Twitter account has been sharing screenshots with some information in anticipation for its release. Here’s what we got so far.

Here’s a look at the mayor of Clock Town. His real name is actually Dotour.

Madame Aroma is the mayor’s wife. She seems pretty keen of her dress that brings out the best of her… nice body. She’s also been trying to locate her son, Kafei.

This mask looks like the son of the Mayor and his wife… and it looks like you’ll get to use it. As for its effects, you’ll have to find out for yourself!

These guys are known as the “Bombers,” and they’re second to none when it comes to having information on what happens in Clock Town. They’ll give you a notebook that lets you check out all kinds of cases that goes on in town.

Here’s a look at the “Bomber’s Notebook”. You can use it to check out the map for where events happen, and it even has an alarm function that tells you when they happen as well.

This is the carpenter boss known as “Mutoh”. He’s been busy preparing for the carnival that opens in Clock Town in three days, all without knowing that the world could possibly be destroyed in three days…

Finally, here is Captain Viscen, who opposes the carnival. The public’s safety is his number one concern.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D will launch in North America and Europe on February 13, 2015 for the Nintendo 3DS.

I already have the limited edition paid for, but I do wish this would get a Wii U release. Be cool to see the new and improved graphics on the big screen.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D hasn't released quite yet, but it's never too early to start thinking about the future.

it would be amazing if they did a full REmake of ocarina and majoras like resident evil had on GCN

Eh, I'd rather have those resources put towards original titles. The classics can be relived and revived through remasters, enhanced ports, and virtual re-release as they always have. Let's not have generations robbed of something purely for nostalgia that can be obtained other ways.

Nintendo gets accused of relying on nostalgia too much. Pump the brakes on the remakes.

A game like A Link to the Past, but done in a full 3D Wii U style would be very interesting.

That's basically how we ended up with Ocarina of Time (just replace Wii U with N64).

Twilight Princess was one of the weaker Zelda games. I hope it's never remastered TBH.
well I'm afraid you won't be happy if you look at the comment in that very article it's the most requested by peep's there. sorry it's another story if this is presented to Nintendo though. so it's safe to say it won't happen if ever.

That's fine if they want it remastered. I strongly disagree of course, but they are allowed to have an opinion. Even if it is wrong. :oldrazz:

Really, I see no reason to remake any more Zeldas most of the major titles have already been revisited. As for those that remain... TP and SS weren't good enough to get a remake IMO. And A Link to the Past holds up very well because of its relatively simple gameplay and 2d graphics that still look good to this day. There is very little reason to remake that masterpiece.

Couldn't disagree with you more has I think it is easily the second best Zelda game behind only time. Really I wish we could just get all the 3d Zelda games remade for wii u. So that would be MM,OT,WW,TP,SS. I would love if we could get all 5 of those remade in great HD for like 150 so like 30 each. I got wind waker HD but I think 50-60 for a remake is to much but I got wind waker HD when target had a buy 2 get one free and I only had like 2 games besides wind waker so really I got it for free.

Twilight Princess freaked me out...so dark and moody...and with the games of now, they're trying to veer from that direction. So I wouldn't care for it to be remade/remastered.

Twilight Princess is like the second highest selling Zelda title of all time, it's pretty much a shore-in to be remastered at some point.
