Man I still cant get over just how big the games map is in Zelda BOTW. I have put in like 17 hours and I don't think I have even unlocked like half of the map yet by the different towers. I fell like i am never going to see the whole game. Its great! I am dieing so much to something that has never happened in Zelda games before. I have only beaten like 12 shirns and only 1 dungeon so far. I new that it was said that the map was big but it is even bigger then I could have imagine. Its just unreal how big this game is. This has got to be like the biggest map in any video game ever made and its got to be not even close. I can see why it took like 5.5 years to make this game.

A few issues I have with the game so far:

1) Weapons break so fast. I'm not really even against the idea of breaking weapons, but it feels like they went too far.

2) Whoever came up with those gyro puzzles should be tried for crimes against humanity.

3) I feel I'll be in a minority with this but I hate, and I mean HATE, the stamina bar

4) I went to a side quest, and my main quest disappeared with the marker. It's like...huh? What's the point of even having markers. That's just weird

Agreed about the weapons... I mentioned it earlier, there should be a good repairing system... none of the armor breaks down (unless so far I havent notcied it?), weird way of thinking.

yea its pretty damn annoying having to tilt the remote... a shrine early on... guiding a ball through a maze like that old gameboy game marble madess... awful.

Stamina bar was annoying at first but upgrading it helps and makes climbing places require planning.

i still dont even understand the map markers lol ... theres 5 different colored lights where the lights don't even work most of the time for me... then a bunch of symbols i cant imagine anyone actually using a sword to mark a goblin camp instead of just taking the place out when you find it lol

The stamina bar isn't so bad once it has been upgraded twice. In my experience, you shouldn't need to upgrade it beyond three times. The game will only show one active quest at a time. If you're tracking a side quest, your main quest marker will go away and it usually will only route you back to the person who gave you the quest, not where to actually go. The gyro puzzles and the Ubisoft towers are why this game is a 9/10 rather than a perfect 10. The Wii gimmick ******** has to go. That fad is ****ing over and dead. I really don't want to see this **** in the next one.

The motion control puzzles are definitely a cancer. There's one where you have to get three of those orange balls into three different slots at the same time and I was so furious doing it I thought I was going to break my Switch in half. Nintendo needs to stop with this motion control madness. Nobody wants it. It doesn't innovate. It frustrates.

can the Pro controller do the motion control stuff?

Yeah. Makes it a bit easier I guess, but the puzzles are still complete ass. Doing the gyro puzzles in handheld mode is a nightmare. I don't think Nintendo planned them out very well.

1. the more you play, the more it doesn't matter. You come across weapons all the time.

2. I agree, and is my biggest complaint about the game. I hate the motion puzzles. The controls are all wonky, and it doesn't feel fluid. But my biggest complaint about them, is they're just a huge gimmick. You could easily do the same thing with your sticks, but they decided to have motion controls on them for whatever reason. But at least I've only had to do 2, so far.

3. I like the stamina bars. It's hard in the beginning, cause you're not powered up enough, but once you start to upgrade your stamina bar, you feel accomplished being able to climb, glide, or swim farther.

4. You can just go into your menu and pick the quest again, and the marker comes back up.

The weapons thing was a major pain when the game started, but now I'm at a point where I have more than enough weapons and I never have inventory space for new ones. It becomes a non-issue pretty quick. Stamina is annoying in the beginning too, but like others have said it's a cool feeling of accomplishment when you get it upgraded.

1) Fire Emblem abandoned weapon breaking. It had to go somewhere.

2 ) Massively agree. I was at a Starbucks twisting and contorting my body trying to get a giant floating hammer to hit a giant metal ball where I had to swing the hammer with motion controls. This is what made me never finish Skyward Sword.

Also, dont waste Life Orb upgrades on increasing stamina. There is something in the game that you need 13-14 hearts to get, its optional but worth it. And afterwards, when you get it done, you can exchange your hearts for stamina if you no longer need that amount of health.

The stamina bar creates the feeling of Link slowly regaining his physical strength after being in stasis for a 100 years.

THIS. Once I got my 13 hearts I focused on stamina. Definitely worth grinding out the hearts first.

lol, I'm the opposite of you guys. I have more stamina than anything else.

So a group of Zelda fans are absolutely pathetic.

I'm assuming he's referring to the... reaction, to one guy giving the game a 7.
