I'm more than ok with 30 fps so long as it's relatively stable.
I don't speculate I let them tell me . Here's their answer belowany speculation as to where BotW lands on the timeline?
When it comes to The Legend of Zelda series of games, nearly every title in the series is connected to each other by a branching timeline. Long-time Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma recently spoke to Waypoint about the upcoming Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, during which Aonuma was asked where exactly this latest game would fall in the series chronology.
Heres a look at both the question and Aonumas response in full:
Waypoint: And where does this Zelda fit on the series timeline, in its chronology, split as that is into three separate yet connected branches?
Aonuma: I wouldnt say that it obviously fits into any one part of the timeline, but if you play the game, youll be able to work out where it fits. As you probably saw in the trailer, the most recent trailer, theres a womans voice, and she says: The history of the royal family of Hyrule is also the history of the Calamity Ganon. And as you know, the Zelda series, up until now, is a history of repeated attacks by Ganon. So, theres food for thought there. I dont want to say anything more as Id like players to work it out for themselves, to play the game and see what they think.

Your absolutely right. He went around in circles with that . Sadly. And it felt more like he was saying play the game to find out. That's what I got out of it. I still rather get from the makers regardless.Aonuma didn't actually answer the question at all in that interview. So we still have nothing but speculation.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is just about a month and a half away from releasing for both the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch, and new screenshots have surfaced over on the Amazon Japan page for the game.
The screenshots feature another look at the various locations in vast Hyrule, and show Link facing off with some enemies, hunting a wild boar, cooking, scaling a mountain side, and more. Wii U and Switch versions of the screenshots have both been posted, providing a good side-by-side comparison of the graphics on the two consoles. Additionally, the page also includes a look at the map of Hyrule which comes along with the Japanese collectors edition of the game.

Japanese video game development studio Monolith Soft has been confirmed to have a hand in the development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Monolith had also had a part in developing Skyward Sword, and now producer Eiji Aonuma has gone into a little more detail about the studios role in Breath of the Wild. [Thanks, NintendoEverything.]
In a recent interview with Gamekult, Aonuma explained that, while Monolith assisted with graphics design and other elements in Skyward Sword, their role in Breath of the Wild was focused on topographic arrangements for the games vast open world.
Heres Aonumas full comment about Monoliths involvement:
On Skyward Sword, Monolith had mainly helped us on graphics design and other artistic elements. Even though we could have asked them for help on the technical side, we realized their way of making games was completely different from ours and we didnt have much to learn from them on this installment, since we were almost doing two different jobs. On the other hand, for Breath of the Wild, weve been assisted by level designers used to large game areas, in order to make topographic arrangements.

In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there is an option under the settings menu that allows players to switch the HUD between Normal and Pro mode. In a recent video from YouTuber Gehab, we get a look at how changing the HUD to Pro mode affects the game.
In Pro mode, elements such as the mini-map and the temperature gauge disappear completely from the HUD, leaving players with nothing but Hearts visible. This seems to be a good option for players out there who want to declutter their HUD. You can see what it looks like in action in the following video.
