Sequels OFFICAL X4 Plot and Villian Ideas/Suggestions

Since everyone wants to make seperate threads for what they feel should be done with X4 or the spin offs I thought making an offical thread would probably make it easier for people who want to see everyone elses ideas without having to go through 50 threads. Here's mine:

Storm takes the new mutants to Muir Island to visit/check out Xavier and his new body. The new mutants consists of Iceman, Kitty, Colossus, Havok, Marrow, and Angel. It turns out Xavier is in the body of her son Kevin while his "soul"/"essence" is trapped in a metal room while she searches for a way to save him.

While there Moira's son Kevin (Proteus) accidently is released and takes over the body of Moria's assistant Jack Boltman (Changeling) and begins searching for a cure for his mutation because he believes that the only way for him to be saved is to be human.

The New Mutants follow Kevin to London where the last Worthington's Lab is shutting down after the company goes bankrupt. While there they run into the London Morlocks who are basically destroying the lab looking for the cure for themselves.

While in London, Kevin learns that his father has moved there to start a new life. Upon confronting his father he learns that his father left him and Moria when Kevin's powers manifested and even has a new family in London where he's running for a spot in the government. Here we get to see Kevin's power at the max as he bends reality to basically destroy his father and his family. Realizing what he did, Kevin becomes even more determined to cure himself.

The London Morlocks find a sample of the cure and take it back to the tunnels where one of their mutants begins to make copies of the cure using his powers for the rest of them to take. Proteus heads to the tunnels to take the cure but the Morlocks won't give up their supply without a fight. Kevin massacrers them.

The New Mutants head to the tunnels to stop Kevin. Kevin confronts the New Mutants in Jack's body in the shape of Professor Xavier to toy with their minds. The Morlocks used up all the cure supply so its basically a matter of time before Kevin's power destroys Jack and himself. The New Mutants try to convince Kevin to go back to Muir Island where they might be able to find a way to say him but he attacks thinking they want to hurt him. Colossus is forced to kill Kevin but Xavier has a new body to send his mind into since Jack's body is stuck in that form but mindless. Marrow stays in the tunnels to find a family like her in the remaining Morlocks. The rest of the students, sans Angel who stays on Muir Island to nurse his wings, head back to the U.S.A. with the new Xavier in tow. After the credits, Warren meets Moria's new assistant who's going to be taking care of him. . .Nathaniel Essex.

Notes:
-Colossus and Marrow would have a Iceman/Rogue in the second movie esque relationship. Marrow in my vision of the fourth film is a mutant who was thrown in the garbage after being visibly born a mutant. All the Morlocks and Marrow would be evident mutants from birth, hence their hiding in the tunnels.

-The London Morlocks are basically the New York Morlocks sans Callisto and Leech but with additions like Harpoon and Riptide who would be manipulated by Proteus.

-Moira is taking care of a little girl, around the age of 6 or 7, who can turn into a wolf. She is another mutant who's powers were evident from birth.

-In his new body Xavier can walk.

-Kevin's power is to bend reality and jump from person to person but he burns the bodies out because of the energy he wields. Jack's body doesn't burn out as fast as the rest because of his shape-shifting power. When Kevin's leaves his body Jack is basically brain dead and stuck in Xavier's form.

-Storm doesn't have to take the studants to Muir Island. It could be Beast, Forge, Banshee, etc. Storm or Wolverine would be the easiest to use w/o introducing a new character.

-This movie/spinoff would use elements for the Mutant Massacre story and the Proteus arc.

I would like to see X4 done based off of the beginning of the cartoon

The new X-men being Jubilee, Gambit kinda entering the group in the same fashion that Beast did, and 99% may disagree with this one but i'd like to see Morph as well.

I'd bring back Prof. X and Cyclops.. I cant think off the top of my head a good reason for a return but im sure there is one.

I would have the villan be the Sentinels and Master Mold leading into a sequel with the villan being Apocalypse.

I really don't want Jubilee to be an X-Man in the movies. I never liked her, and we already had Rogue and now Kitty as the young girls in the X-Men.

As for Morph, if they ever did a prequel movie, I would like to see that. Maybe have him, Cyclops, Jean, Beast and Storm be the original X-Men. And if they're going to do this and go young with the casting, I say Adam Brody dammit.

Save Jubilee for the Wolverine spin off.

I personally feel Jubilee should deserve to have at least an action/power scene by now. She's the only re-occuring major X-Character from the comics to appear in all three films, without using her power yet. Also, seeing as that Callisto, Kid Omega/Quill, Archlight, and Psylocke were all minority characters and were all killed off, it gives them a good excuse to use Jubilee as a bigger character in the next film. Not to be racist, because I'm definately not, but a big reason why Jubilee could join the cast is because she's already an established character and also would be the only minority good guy other than Storm.
Jubes would also be the only energy-wielding character on the team, seeing as Cyclops has been axed. There are already enough melee fighters on the team, and Iceman's powers are really only defensive so far... Jubilee has both offense and defense in her ranged powers.

either she will be in X4, or else she should definately play a part in the Wolverine film.

The fourth movie should be about Mr. Sinister. Gambit could lead the Marauders and later reform as an X-Man. He could capture Cyclops and Havok for experimenting and they could later be rescued and join the X-Men as well.

See I want to see an older cast, im done with the children like Collosus, Kiddy, Iceman, Rogue, Etc. but 1 kid wouldnt hurt.. and I think Jubilee would be fine as that 1 kid in the movie. I like to see her blast a sentinel, as for Morph I thought he was hillarious in the cartoons, can be hillarious in the movies gives the movies a better blend of action and comedy.

I think they should just ditch all the principals (well, I suppose they could cameo) and try to make a loose sort of "New X-Men" story with the young ones. Bobby, Kitty, Piotr, Warren, and the others taking on a threat not quite so dangerous in scope, but still imposing (that one villain team that Sabretooth ran immediately springs to mind).

Havok shows up to the Mansion looking for answers on his brothers supposed death.

Younger mutants (New Mutants) train in the Danger room, including Jubilee, Cannonball, and Sunspot.

Cyclops (in a coma) is being held captive by Mr. Sinister since the Alkali Lake incident.

Rogues powers start coming back, she accidentally absorbs the powers of flight, super-strength, invulerability. She inadvertantly kills the mutant in the process. She leaves the school once again, eventually meeting Gambit.

Gambit has ties to Mr. Sinister and is the leader of the Marauders.

Mr. Sinister offers to help control Rogues powers. Eventually Gambit helps free Rogue.

Iceman takes on a leadership role.

Kitty and Collossus start to form a relationship.

Finding out that the cure is actually only temporary, the Government starts to develop Sentinels, just in case another Alcatraz incident happens again.

The X-men find out Cyclops might still be alive.

Many mutants start to get there powers back and they are pissed. They ban together and once again attack Washington including Juggernaut, Pyro, Avalnche, Toad and the Blob (which is set up by Mr. Sinister), the Sentinels clean house, one group of X-Men are sent to deal with that.

A second group of X-men search for Cyclops and find him. The X-men fight a group of mutants (The Murauders). They rescue Cyclops but Angel is taken prisoner in the process.

Magneto searches for 2 mutants that might be his children. (Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver)

Mr. Sinister ressurects Apocolypse, Movie ends

Credits role, end of credits Archangel flies towards the screen.

Sometime during this movie Storm dies.

This movie would just be the first half to a 2 part movie arc about Apocolypse like Matrix 2 and 3

These are characters from New X-men that I think would translate well onto film.

So our the team would be: Angel (Team Leader), Iceman, Shadowcat, Colossus, Wind Dancer, Surge and Hellion with the adult members (Storm, Beast, Wolverine) as head leaders.

This idea is inspired greatly by an episode from the animated X-men series:

The idea for the trilogy would focus around a mysterious island in the Indian Ocean that is advertized as a tropical paradise where mutants are welcomed openly. Storm (Head Mistress of The Xavier Institute) sends the young X-men to investigate but also to give them a break from their intense training they've endured in the past months. The young X-men arrive and find everything supposedly kosher until they realize the island is facade for atrocities against mutantkind. Mutants are lured from around the world only to be force into exploitation, illegal and inhumane labor, scientific testing and even harvesting of body parts. The young X-men are captured and must fight their way out and try to free and nation of subjugated mutants.

My real opinion... I think the movies should keep goin like James Bond thats probably just me but since we dont got a cartoon anymore I think the movies should keep going, different set of actors for each era ya know?

so yea another trilogy for me with these actors and add on too them like add in Gambit, Sinister, Apocalypse.. guys we'd like to see on the big screen and would work on the big screen.

There will be an X4 and it will be after a Wolverine solo meaning 6 years from now (2012):

*The events of this movie will be 2 to 3 years after X3. The plot will fill in the blanks of what happened since then.

* Sinister will be the villain.

* It will involve the mutant massacre and Sinister's experimentation with mutant genetics.

* Gambit will be introduced as a character and join the X-Men mid-film.

* Cyclops will be revealed as alive.

* The X-Men will be Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, Colossus, Kitty, and Rogue. The studio will bring back at least two of these characters based on which actors they can resign and how each character will effect the plot: Storm, Wolverine, Beast and/or Nightcrawler.

* Professor X will return.

* Magneto will have a subplot. Also, the cure will prove ineffective against level 4 and level 5 mutants. Magneto and Rogue will regain their powers. As a matter of fact, because of the Cure Mags and Rogue will be more powerful. Can you say "flying, superpowered, sassy Rogue"?

this is just a brainstorm but what if X-4 starts off with like a 5 years later thing

they show Phoenix/Jean Grey rise from the ashes.. then you see a battle between Jean Grey and Phoenix.. which Jean Grey wins and then she brings back Prof. X and Cyclops body or we can just say Cyclops didnt get his body destroyed but blown away (for Sinister to grab, like he did Morph in the cartoon) and she brings back Prof. X's body.. in which he will put his soul back in.

Then they go from there to face either Master Mould, Sinister, or the Apocalypse

Bring in Gambit so Cyclops absense isnt a huge one, have them take on Master mould and the Sentinels, then X-5 bring back Cyclops against Sinister.. lead it into the Apoclypse.. I think Brett Ratner is good at continuing these movies, at each end he always leaves suspense for another one.. his comments may seem like he has no intentions fo an X-4 but again thats probably him tryna throw off his viewers to believe there wont be then he'll hit u with another one.

Ratner? hes directed Red Dragon, After the sunset, Money Talks, and Rush hour, The Family man, neither was a bad movie.

On x2 jean saved the xmen form deaht aying believe me it's the only way...she knew phoenix was coming...but she also knew how she could be saved. he saved the x men. when she met scott on x3 she told him what's gonna happen after she tried to kill him. she told him about the cure,and that phoenix will reveled against the x men, and that she was gonna kill charles, or at least that would be what everybody would think. she told him that charles was gonna leave his body to safe his life and battle phoenix would be killed by logan, or at least that' s what everybody would thought.. after being buried phoenix would rise again, and hide herself to battle charles on a mental world, and he would have emma forst's help...and he would safe her, as he promised her when she was a child. But she tells scott he can't go to the finnal battle to alcatraz, he had to be appart from that battle, //and join the x men on the future when the world realises that the cure was wrong, it was the trial for a virus or something (i havent thought about that plot too much yet)// or phoenix will kill him because phoenix loves logan not scott...So she does something to cyclops as jean grey, before becoming phoenix, and scott comes back on x4, to join the x men on another plot, meanwhile charles is fighting her on a mental world to safe jean and safe the world from the phoenix... But of course we won't know the truth untill the end. Untill the end, we just see scott coming back to join the xmen with the excuse jean saved him from the final battle (he could told logan phoenix loved him, but not scott), and we would see how charles is fighting phoenix but with the aim of saving the world from the phoenix, not of saving jean.

About what the rest of the xmen will do i have no idea... I would like to see:
1- magneto forcing rogue to kill a mutant whe she's having her powers back...rogue felling guilty, but then accepting herself,an emotional transformation seeing herself as gifted not cursed with new powers. also absorbing another power not forever, but with good action scenes
2-magneto joining another huge villain
3-gambit
4-still godd storm(making a hurricane) and wolwerine(on a dark scene where he has to follow his wolf senses)
5-more form those who survived x3(iceslides, etc..)
6-many flashbacks of the xmen as they face situations on the film (just like Lost series)
7-mystique's revenge
8-mystique and nightcrawler mother&son relationship
9-empath (he could be usefull to tell the feelings of some carcters..)
10-more drama, more emotion, more politic, more reflexions, more diference, a bit darker, more good action, and some good funny things!

I know everyone wants Jean to come back but I don't see it happening agian. In the comics its cool but twice in the same franchise is just overkill. Now Cyclops coming back I could see. If at the beginning of X4 you have a flashback to when Jean died at the end of X3 and her spirit calling out to a dead Cyclops and reviving him or waking him up to show him prisoner to Mr. Sinister (most people want the latter I assume) is totally kosher.

This si what I wrote in the other thread about X4 ideas:

-An opening speech about mutation once again by Professor X, asking the question about when mutation started.

-Storm now runs the Xavier Institute and gets frequent visits from Beast. She, along with Collossus now lead the X-Men and are in the Danger Room training the new team: Kitty (Shadowcat), Bobby (Iceman), Warren (Angel), Jubilee, and Nightcrawler (who has returned to the mansion). Rogue is one the move once again, trying to clear her head (after taking the cure, most of her fellow mutants at the school act differently towards her and call her a "traitor"). Wolverine has left the mansion for reasons unknown.
-Alex Summers arrives at the school after he receives word about his brother's death.

-Meanwhile Professor X, in the body of that comatose man, is brought to the mansion by Moira where he explains to Storm and the others what happened and how he is still "alive". He wants to let them know that he is still well and that he won't be returning to the X-Men anytime soon, because he is on a "mission of self-thought" or some other mystical type journey that sounds just about right.

-It's shown that Magneto is underground after discovering his powers are slowly returning. He has been gradually trying to increase his power, but he is not getting much progress. Though his powers haven't returned yet, he still feels that he should let it be known that Magneto has returned, so he sets out to find two mutants who are apparently his children (since he has no one else to turn to) so they can deliver his message (also he is busy going through old scriptures from ancient Egypt that he has held for years, but only kept it for dire times, and these times are more dire than ever.

-Beast drops by the Mansion to discuss with the X-Men that the cure that was developed is not entirely permanent. In some mutants it is, but in others (such as powerful ones and some "lucky ones") it's not, and they all remember Magneto was hit with the cure as well. They believe he might indeed return if the same goes for him.

-Meanwhile, Rogue is still on the road and eventually stops at a bar (as always) and runs into a bar fight with five men against one (and we all know who that one is). The one man pulls out his only defense: a deck of cards....that happen to flare up and explode all over the place. Rogue realizes he's a mutant and the man runs off before the police show up (but not before stealing a kiss from Rogue....and her all her money). After realizing this, she follows him.

-Magneto, slowly gaining more power, travels over to the moutains where there is a home, belonging to Pietro Maximoff, his son. After telling him what his plan is, the two travel over to a mental ward where their is a girl who believes herself to have magical powers is kept in. Pietro and Magneto break her free, and she is revealed to be Wanda Maximoff, Magneto's daughter (he had seperated his children and kept them hidden so that when the day came for him to fall, they would rise and take his place).
Once three are reunited, they move on with their next plan: which is travel to Egypt to try and ressurect the one known as En Sabah Nur, who is believed to be the first mutant on Earth. It is said that Nur, "at his core, has always been about ensuring that the mutant race is strong enough to survive whatever hardships it might encounter". Now, after the events of X3, the mutant race is at its all-time low…so if there was ever a time where the mutant race needed a savior, it’s now. And Magneto intends for En Sabah Nur intends to be that savior.
Before they can move on, Magneto wasnt's to rebuild the Brotherhood, so he moves on to doing so (not before making his return known).

-The X-Men get word of Magneto's return and that he's breaking out various mutants to rebuild the Brotherhood, so they chase him down, with Havok and Beast on the team for the moment.

-Rogue finally finds the theif Gambit and she tries to get her stuff back, and when she touches him, he passes out (her powers are returning, and she now has a share of his). After seeing that her powers have returned, she decides to head back to the school (Gambit, after waking up secretly follows her). Once she arrives she realizes that the others have left, and most of the other mutants don't want her around. She begins having a breakdown and Gambit tries to comfort her, and surprisingly: she begins to exhibit new abilities (apparently a side effect of the cure wearing off).

-The X-Men return to the mansion after discovering where Magneto is heading to and for what (after consulting the Professor) and are joined by Rogue and Gambit on the mission because they'll need all the help they can get. There is tension between Bobby, Rogue, Kitty, and Gambit (Rogue still likes Bobby, but she is liking Gambit, and Bobby's jealous, which is angering Kitty).

-In Egypt, Magneto and his team meet with a mysterious man who calls himself Sinister and he takes them to meet a woman named Destiny who can see into the future and she tells them of the events to come, Apocalypse, and the Four Horsemen. With this information, Sinister joins the team towards the tomb of En Sabah Nur.

-The X-Men find the where the Brotherhood has arrived at they begin battle, splitting the teams while some go inside to try and resurrect the first mutant/stop the ressurection. Of course it's not stopped and Apocalypse is awaken and he begins atacking, knocking out a number of the X-Men and Brotherhood. He then takes four of the mutants and chooses to make them his Horsemen (Collossus, Storm, Magneto, and Angel). Also, Angel is stripped of his old wings and given new metallic ones.

-Now the remaining mutants have to join together and stop the Four Horsemen and Apocalypse as they ramapge through cities and civilizations (it can end like that or end with them defeating Apocalypse....don't matter)

I like the idea you set up for rogue, all the things with the traitor thing, and meeting gambit... but i'd like to see her being forced to kill a mutant, when her powers are coming back, then see a drmatical transformation on her...she feels guilty and miserable, and while she's looking at herself on a mirror, she gets angry and breaks it with her hands, starts bleeding and crying..then wolwerine comes in the room and touches her so she gets healed..they have a conversation, but she still feels bad, and guilty..she starts thinking why this happende to her, that boby is going away.and so on.. on another scene she meets empath on the mansion, he is a man who can feel other's emotions and make feel other ones what he wants. They speak for a while, and he tells her that he envies her, cause people for touching her heart cannot use fisical strategies, so she is prtected and destiny to love the only ones who can realy touch her..he makes something with his powers, and rogue feels like he is kissing her but without kissing her. then he says you don't need to actually kiss someone to get kissed, or loved.. then he leaves, and rogue starts thinking and she starts feeling great with herself...then she talks with boby and the clear their relationship.they love each other as a friend, and she made a mistake thinking that she was cursed and so on ...on another scene she looks at the mirror she broke, look at herself and says: sorry... then kitty comes and tells her she's sorry for everything, and rogue answers thank you, but you dont' reall need to be sorry for who you are and what you feel. then kitty invites her to the danger room, and they join icemen and other x men and they train. there we can see how she starts gaining%

<b>X4: X-Men Reunited</b>

What could happen/what I'd like to see happen...

After the fall of Cyclops, Professor X, and Jean Grey, the team needs a little reshaping/rebuilding.

Rogue begins to realize that her powers are coming back, slowly but surely. It could be shown with a flower wilting away in her hand or something to that effect. Still, she would sit most of the movie out as she is not yet powerful enough yet to fight alongside the other X-Men. She could come back near the end of the film, after realizing the grass is not always greener on the other side, and yes, even learn to fly (much like Storm in X3).

Nightcrawler returns after learning of his former teammates' deaths, and to help build up the new team against a new imposing threat. It's just a matter of getting Alan Cummings to hop back on board.

Wolverine may or may not be back this time around. It all depends on which way they decide to go with the Wolverine spin-off. IF it's set to present day and Wolverine ventures off on his own; then he'll probably make a cameo at most in X4. If the Wolverine spin-off takes place before the X-Men films, then you can most definitely count on his return in the possible sequel.

Magneto gets his powers back before most of the mutants who lost theirs, because he is such a powerful mutant (level 4 or 5). This time, he teams with the X-Men to take on the new threat, which is not the human race.

Professor X returns, with a beard and full head of hair. After a quick shave, we see the face thats all too familiar to X-Men movie fans. How? Could be his telepathy powers; having us see him the way we remember him...

Storm is back...of course, only this time she is played by a different actress, as Halle Berry stated in Entertainment Weekly that she is not interested in doing another X-Men film. Jada Pinkett Smith anyone? She and Wolverine would pretty much lead the team.

Beast, Angel, Colussus, Iceman, and Kitty are all back, kicking ass and taking names.

Mystique returns, only now she has decided to break away from Magneto and turn his own men against him. She has ways of being persuasive. Her powers are not yet back at 100% but she still manages to kick some butt. She, along with Juggernaut and Pyro, start a new brotherhood. The Blob and Avalanche join the cast, as well as the return of Toad. The new Brotherhood aren't so much bad, as they are a pain in the butt to X-Men and Magneto. They too, think of themselves as heroes, but their methods are far more destructive.

Finally, who is this new threat? A being so dangerous that it could wipe all of humanity and mutant-kind... I am of course talking about Apocolypse. Having Apocolypse as the film's villain would be every fanboy's wet dream, and the movie-goers would be dazzled as well. The budget would be high, but I can guarantee they'd make it back and then some.

X4: X-Men Reunited would be show humans and mutants finally coming together to save the world. Feel free to fill in the holes...
