Since everyone wants to make seperate threads for what they feel should be done with X4 or the spin offs I thought making an offical thread would probably make it easier for people who want to see everyone elses ideas without having to go through 50 threads. Here's mine:

**********

Storm takes the new mutants to Muir Island to visit/check out Xavier and his new body. The new mutants consists of Iceman, Kitty, Colossus, Havok, Marrow, and Angel. It turns out Xavier is in the body of her son Kevin while his "soul"/"essence" is trapped in a metal room while she searches for a way to save him.

While there Moira's son Kevin (Proteus) accidently is released and takes over the body of Moria's assistant Jack Boltman (Changeling) and begins searching for a cure for his mutation because he believes that the only way for him to be saved is to be human.

The New Mutants follow Kevin to London where the last Worthington's Lab is shutting down after the company goes bankrupt. While there they run into the London Morlocks who are basically destroying the lab looking for the cure for themselves.

While in London, Kevin learns that his father has moved there to start a new life. Upon confronting his father he learns that his father left him and Moria when Kevin's powers manifested and even has a new family in London where he's running for a spot in the government. Here we get to see Kevin's power at the max as he bends reality to basically destroy his father and his family. Realizing what he did, Kevin becomes even more determined to cure himself.

The London Morlocks find a sample of the cure and take it back to the tunnels where one of their mutants begins to make copies of the cure using his powers for the rest of them to take. Proteus heads to the tunnels to take the cure but the Morlocks won't give up their supply without a fight. Kevin massacrers them.

The New Mutants head to the tunnels to stop Kevin. Kevin confronts the New Mutants in Jack's body in the shape of Professor Xavier to toy with their minds. The Morlocks used up all the cure supply so its basically a matter of time before Kevin's power destroys Jack and himself. The New Mutants try to convince Kevin to go back to Muir Island where they might be able to find a way to say him but he attacks thinking they want to hurt him. Colossus is forced to kill Kevin but Xavier has a new body to send his mind into since Jack's body is stuck in that form but mindless. Marrow stays in the tunnels to find a family like her in the remaining Morlocks. The rest of the students, sans Angel who stays on Muir Island to nurse his wings, head back to the U.S.A. with the new Xavier in tow. After the credits, Warren meets Moria's new assistant who's going to be taking care of him. . .Nathaniel Essex.

Notes:
-Colossus and Marrow would have a Iceman/Rogue in the second movie esque relationship. Marrow in my vision of the fourth film is a mutant who was thrown in the garbage after being visibly born a mutant. All the Morlocks and Marrow would be evident mutants from birth, hence their hiding in the tunnels.

-The London Morlocks are basically the New York Morlocks sans Callisto and Leech but with additions like Harpoon and Riptide who would be manipulated by Proteus.

-Moira is taking care of a little girl, around the age of 6 or 7, who can turn into a wolf. She is another mutant who's powers were evident from birth.

-In his new body Xavier can walk.

-Kevin's power is to bend reality and jump from person to person but he burns the bodies out because of the energy he wields. Jack's body doesn't burn out as fast as the rest because of his shape-shifting power. When Kevin's leaves his body Jack is basically brain dead and stuck in Xavier's form.

-Storm doesn't have to take the studants to Muir Island. It could be Beast, Forge, Banshee, etc. Storm or Wolverine would be the easiest to use w/o introducing a new character.

-This movie/spinoff would use elements for the Mutant Massacre story and the Proteus arc.

ummm...where is Wolverine? This movie sounds boring without him...

I wouldn't mind seeing Alex Summers/Havok in charge of a new Brotherhood. Magneto would still be in the movie but still recovering his powers.

I think the Havok and the Brotherhood story would finaly provide a good excuse to write something good for Cyclops.

I would also have Rogue and Mystique together. Maybe in the Brotherhood and with their powers back.

Gambit joins the X-men. Yup, I know you're sick of us on the X3 board. :p peace.

X-Men: Dawn of Apocalypse/X6
Narration by Professor X.- As old as time itself, those who are different have always been met fear, resentment and often hate. Humanity has never embraced what they yet to understand, more than often resulting in conflict. If you look at history itself you’d find that for as long as there are those who fear there has, and always will be, war.
Synopsis
Over 1,000 years ago a mutant En Sabah Nur or as they called him Apocalypse reigned all of Egypt with an iron fist. His tyranny would only expand casting the world into eternal war. But somehow he had been stopped. Evidence as to how or who sealed Apocalypse away has never been found, just that he was. But such a time is upon humanity now as history begins to repeat itself. The final battle dawns upon the X-Men as they face of against the ultimate mutant, in the ultimate battle to ensure a world that hates and fears them.

love the overall set up nicely thought out!though whether i could wait til X6 for the age of the Apocalypse i'm not sure!

In X4, first it is important to bring back Cyclops, and place him as the leader of the group. When this happans, Wolverine should play a less significant role, merely providing support.

With the villain, these are my thoughts. Because humans were the enemies in the previous films (with william striker, the cure, mutant registration), having Bolivar Trask and the Sentinals as an enemy would feel repetitive. Therefore the new vilain should of course, as many have suggested, be Mr. Sinister or another powerful mutant. Magneto and the brotherhood of mutants should not be mentioned.

Here's my ideas:

X4: Dark Horizon

X-Men: Storm, Wolverine, Beast, Colossus, Angel, Kitty, Bobby, Banshee, Gambit (in the end), Magneto (helps in the final battle)

Villains: Bastion (Operation Zero Tolerance), Omega Red (government's mutant weapon), Prime Sentinels & Mutant Strike force

Ressurections: Professor X is discovered to be alive.

X5: Ressurection

X-Men: Storm, Wolverine, Beast, Colossus, Gambit, Kitty, Bobby, Banshee, Cyclops, Jean Grey

Villains: Hellfire Club and Dr. Nathaniel Essex (Legacy Virus subplot)

Resurrections: Jean Grey and Cyclops

X6: Ascension

X-Men: Storm, Wolverine, Phoenix, Beast, Colossus, Gambit, Kitty, Bobby, Cyclops, Jubilee, Siryn, Banshee, Havok

Villains: Apocalypse and his four horsemen (Sinister, Prof. X, Angel, Rogue)

Resurrections: Apocalypse

I think that for the most part that Gambit could replace Logan as the rebelious bad ass of the group. Plus and most importantly I totally doubt Jackman would come back to play Wolvie for a 5TH time and I wouldnt want to see another actor replacing him.

And i wanted to repost a previous quote i had since im hearing more things about sentinals -

Any ideas about the sentinels being in X4 doesnt make sense cuz apparently they already faced sentinals before wat happens in X3 according the the X3 video game. Thats why (in my mind at least) they already know wat a sentinal is and looks like so thats why they recreate one in the danger room in the movie. Plus the idea of an army of robots created to defend against mutants is a bit out there even for a movie. I dont think it would work.

For X4 they could have Trask return with a newer version of the Sentinels, but this time it won't be the Master Mold at the head it'd be Bastion; who's programming grows independent and takes over all Sentinels.
As for Gambit he'd be in the Morlocks where Rogue flees and resides after her powers return and puts Bobby in a coma.

Cyclops is back, but as a clone created by Sinister (He was obsessed with the summers bloodline in the comics).

I'm not sure who could play Nightcrawler, but it is possible. All they need is someone who can do the accent and resemble NC. Doesn't have to look a lot like Alan Cumming, because after they'd put on the makeup he looked different anyway.

^y not alan cumming? and also instead of a cyclops clone y not scott just be brought back cause we never saw him die, then have a clone of jean that sinister makes, really mess with scott's head plus it would finally make him esential to the plot

Isnt that pretty much the storyline of X3, with Jean..and minus the cure?

Ah, I didn't see this thread when I posted last night... Here's what I wrote

Ok, I went and saw X3 again today, just to prove to myself I saw that I saw. And yeah, I'm still disappointed in the movie. So after having thought about the direction the next movies could go (if they get made), here's what I came up with. It's rough, but it's a start.

Ok, first off, the entire new trilogy would have be shot LOTR style over a full year and a half. The movies should come out a year after eachother on every Memorial Day to maximize profits like it did this year. I'd also have no casting changes in my trilogy just because I HATE it when re-cast main characters.

Here's my ideas for the first of the 3 movies.

X-Men: The New Beginning

The gist is that the school returns to normal after the events of the Last Stand, with Storm, Beast, and Logan becoming the teachers. However, Logan tends to just up and leave quite a bit, so they decide to bring in a new teacher, a Ms. Emma Frost. I'd stick with her Ultimate version, where she was a teacher of another school like Xaiver's in Chicago, and someone Charles had talked about in the past (I wouldn't bring up the Hellfire Club at all in this movie).

Bobby, Kitty, Colossus, Rogue, and Angel are still students, but in the senior class and are becoming mentors to the younger students.

We learn that the cure isn't as permanent as they thought as Rogue has begun to re-gain her powers even before the movie begins and the mutant communitty is aware of it. But because Bobby and Rogue were together for quite some time while she was "normal", Kitty and Peter had become an item (to please all the fanboys).

However, with Rogue's powers coming back, it's putting a bigger strain on hers and Bobby's relationship, and they decide it better to take some time off for a while.

One night during the beginning of the movie, a knock/buzz (whatever) is heard at the front door of the school. When they answer it, we see two people (a man and woman) standing close together (we can tell they're a couple), and the man just says, "Hello, my name is Alex Summers, I've come looking for information regarding my brother." (or something along those lines) We find out that the girl with him is none other than Lorna Dane, aka Polaris.

The X-Men are shocked to find out that Scott had a brother, but soon find out that the professor had kept it a secret from them after looking into his Cerebro files. Alex states that someone contacted him and told him to come to the Xavier School for answers. We learn that Alex and Lorna were in another country doing some kind of refugee work for years in the middle of nowhere to escape the life of being a mutant and persecution.

Of course they let him know that Scott is presumed dead as Jean had killed him up at Alkali Lake, but Alex isn't too keen on that idea since there's no body and no evidence except for his glasses which Logan recovered.

Meanwhile, there are reports in the news about a number of mutants suddenly disappearing from their homes, most of them appear to be homeless or poor, aka The Morlocks (or Omega Muties as seen in X3). At first no one thinks anything of it, but then as Storm and Rogue are out in the city, they are tracked down by Callisto (she ain't dead from what I saw in X3) and confronted, but not to fight. Callisto tracks down Ororo to ask for help regarding the missing mutants.

Rogue notices another person with Callisto, looking to keep an eye out for something, and as he turns to look at her, his red eyes startle her. Yeah, it's Gambit. Nooch. We come to find out that he's relatively new to the Morlocks and Callisto is a bit weary of him since he showed up.

Cut back to the Mansion and to a new Danger Room session, except this one doesn't suck. This time we get full Sentinels and more students in the DR. A 5 to 8 minute special fx showcase of all their powers.

Now of couse since the Cure didn't work, that means Mystique and Magneto are now repowered, but weak. Magneto has reformed his Brotherhood, Juggernaut, Pyro, Multiple Man, and Sabretooth. Since the humans don't know the cure doesn't really work, Mystique is easily able to escape her captures by inpersonating someone since they're not expecting it. We can just assume Pyro and Juggernaut escaped with the crowd ala Magneto at the end of X3.

Magneto also hears of the disappearing mutants and assumes it's the US government taking them to do experiments on them for another cure. But this time, instead of trying to just march in and kill everyone, he sends Pyro back to the school to fake like he wants to return and be on the good side once again. This way, he has a mole in the school and can gather intel on what the X-Men know about the situation. Pryo is welcomed back, but of course Bobby and Rogue are weary of letting him back in.

Emma with the help of Callisto try to locate the missing mutants with the help of Cerebra (had to throw Emma in this movie to provide the X-Men with a psychic and she'll be used much more in the later movies). What they find shocks them. One of the newly missing mutants is seen being carried away by none other than Gambit himself. Callisto is furious with this traitor and vows to kill him herself. Emma suggests that they just follow him to see where he's been taking the Morlocks.

Storm, Bobby, Rogue, and Callisto follow Gambit to some side entrance of what appears to be a run down facility on the out-skirts of New York. He knocks, and is let in, as he enters, he looks around and Rogue catches him looking over at her behind some cover, but he does nothing and enters the building instead.

The X-Men break into the building and don't find anything out of the ordinary until Callisto senses Gambit and someone else below them. They find an entrance to some sort of underground lab full of viles, equipment, beakers, mad scientist type stuff. During their search, they don't realize that they're being watched and out of nowhere Gambit and some weird looking mutants attack them. We are let known that they are former Morlocks, but have been grossley mutated and/or tested on.

Huge fight scene ensues, the only thing of importance here is that Gambit and Rogue square off and/or she steals his powers for a bit. Callisto and Bobby get injured so they must retreat back to the Mansion.

Back at the School, Pyro gets ahold of the knowledge of what happened and where the facility is and reports it back to Magneto. Once Eric hears of this, he seems to put it all together and figure it out. He utters, "Essex.." We get some backstory on Dr. Nathaniel Essex, though Eric did not know him personally, he is aware of his brash experiments and unusual methods. He says that Charles once met with him a long time ago to discuss the evolution of the mutant gene. He believed him to be dead many years ago.

Because Rogue absorbed some of Gambit's powers and memories, Emma tries to read her mind to obtain more information about him, his name, where he's from, just what his powers can do, etc. They both get the sense that he's confused and might be under some sort of manipulation. We can tell that Rogue is feeling sorry for him and has began to start to fall for him.

Pryo lets the X-Men know that Magneto is back and planning to attack (insert something here), so the whole team gears up ready for a fight, but when they get to the place, there's nothing going on. Instead we see Eric, Sabretooth, Maddrox, Juggernaut, and Mystique waiting. They needed to meet in a private place to talk about the going's on with Essex. Asking Eric how he knew about what was up, Mystique morphs into Gambit to let them know she has ways to gain information as well, it's also let loose that Pyro was just a spy the whole time.

While the X-Men are away, Beast, Bobby, Emma, Havok, and Polaris are back at the Mansion when the entire place is assaulted by grotesque mutants with increased strength and powers. The remaining X-Men are out numbered and too weak to withstand the assault and are defeated. When they awake, they're still at the mansion, but notice that Alex and Lorna are gone.

They call for other team members for help and alert them of the situation. Once Magneto finds out that the mansion was attacked, he laughs it off, but then hears that Alex and Lorna were taken, and his mood suddenly shifts. He tells the X-Men that one more time, they need to put their differences aside and confront Essex once and for all.

So now the final battle begins. The Brotherhood and X-Men (minus Bobby and Emma) arrive at the facility. Juggernaut and Colossus make waste to the front entrance very easily and clear a path for the remaining teams. They pair off and split up to search for the missing mutants. (Now we can get some great dialogue and backstory here by teaming up Logan and Sabretooth, Colossus and Kitty, Storm, Rogue, and Mystique, Beast and Magneto, Angel and Pyro, Juggs and Multiple Man)

Fight ensues, yadda yadda yadda, Gambit is there along with some throw away cameos for lesser mutants and morlocks. Rogue decides to take on Gambit again, but this time Rogue grabs powers from all the different mutants so she's a total bad ass and just kicks everyone's ass. During the fight, Gambit gets knocked back and something either breaks or falls out of his coat/head gear thingy and he appears confused and weak. They realize it was some sort of mind control device, thus letting Gambit turn good once he sees that he was being used by Essex. They find Havok and Polaris still alive and barely conscious and free them. Of course they still get a few shots in now and again. Magneto seems especially happy to see Polaris in good health and while helping her escape it's revieled that she is his daughter. Magneto could say something along the line of, "You think that all my time on this planet and I haven't had the time to father children?", "Children" being the key word. Lets us know Wanda and Pietor are out there.

Near the end of the battle, Essex finally reveils himself in some grand fashion sort of way but calls himself Mr. Sinister now. He looks nothing at all like Eric remembers him, he now has pale white skin, dark black hair, red eyes, and seems to be in top physical shape for a man that should be in his 70's let alone dead. Either he lets us know, or it's revealed some other way that the reason he's been kidnapping the mutants to perform experiments on them was so that he could isolate a specific mutant gene. Unfortunatly, none of the Morlocks possessed that gene so he turned them into mindless killing machines. He also lets the audience know that he already got what he needed from Lorna.

Then he mentions to Alex that what he obtained from him, was something even more special. Alex has had enough of this and just blasts Sinister with his powers, and all hell breaks loose. The other "morlocks" awake and fight off the x-men/brotherhood while the whole place is coming down. Fires erupt and explosions are going off everywhere. The X-Men are forced to retreat and the Brotherhood takes off as well.

We cut back to the Mansion where things are explained and Havok and Polaris decide to leave again, but can't help but wonder why they were abducted in the first place. They wonder what Sinister meant by "what he obtained". Lorna must now also deal with the fact that she now knows who her real father is. Gambit is also now with the team and he and Rogue seem to have some tension between them as she still feels uneasy around him. Bobby notices this and tries to talk to Rogue about it, but she just denies it. The Gambit/Rogue saga would continue into the next movie, I think it'd be too early to just make them a couple in this movie without actually getting know eachother first.

Credits Roll...

After credits, we cut to a dark room where we can see make out a figure in a cloak talking to what appears to be himself. We recognize it to be Sinister's voice and he says something along the lines of, "Yes my lord, I have obtained what is needed for you. No, they will not be a problem anymore. I.. I hope you do not mind, but I also obtained a sample for my own project..." And as he says this, we pan over to see a tube with some sort of human like figure in it, and the name, "Scott Summers" on a name plate. "Yes lord, the APOCALYPSE will be upon us!"

End

Yeah, that's my first time at trying to write ANYTHING comic related, so it probably sucks. Just stuff I threw on a page. I noticed that when I was going through it, I wasn't all, "Now Logan does this..." and "Wolverine does that...". This isn't a Logan centered movie or trilogy for that matter. I didn't bother to write any dialogue cause I know I suck that too, so just fill in stuff for whoever. I didn't want to overload the teams and bring in a ton of new people, but I also wanted to have some sit it out and/or leave so it didn't become this giant cluster **** at the end.

I'm still thinking how I'd want to do the other 2 movies and maybe I'll type that up later. I have a general plot outline in my head though.

Thanks for reading, if you did. Yeah, I'm a big nerd :O

House of M is what I think would make a good X4. Details to come later but the general thing is that I would remove all the extra MU characters that show up and keep it to mutants. Also it will seem good to the studio because Wolverine plays a larger role in that arc. It will also help to reboot the franchise after X-Men: The Last Straw to the fans.

I would like to see X4 done based off of the beginning of the cartoon

The new X-men being Jubilee, Gambit kinda entering the group in the same fashion that Beast did, and 99% may disagree with this one but i'd like to see Morph as well.

I'd bring back Prof. X and Cyclops.. I cant think off the top of my head a good reason for a return but im sure there is one.

I would have the villan be the Sentinels and Master Mold leading into a sequel with the villan being Apocalypse.

yes hell yes i've been saying this for years....

SENTINELS SENTINELS SENTINELS

to make it official in the 4th movie they should go somewhat in depth as far as what happened in the video game. there are things in the game that can be left out....(sabertooth coming back, silver samurai, lady deathstrike) basically what Nightcrawler went through in the game is what they should touch on so that way it officaly connects the dots from x2 to x3 to x4. x4 of course would bring back Nightcrawler and Nightcrawler can share what happened at Alkali Lake with those who don't know what happened. according to the games story they go back to retrieve vital parts of Cerebero. that would explain in X3 why professor x never used cerbero cuz maybe its under repair still. as far as what the X Men discovered at Alkali Lake...Sentinels and Master Mould should come into play. and X4 should be an all out war with mutants vs humans and X Men vs Brotherhood again. Magneto would destroy all the Sentinels of course but then it doesn't stop there. he wants to kill the humans as well. or better yet find a way to turn the Sentinels on humans. and of course bring in Gambit (FINALLY) as well as a cliffhanger too the Age of Apocalylpse...enter Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse.

Also it will seem good to the studio because Wolverine plays a larger role in that arc. It will also help to reboot the franchise after X-Men: The Last Straw to the fans.

Here is how I would start it:

Quicksilver is running through water to Muir Island where he hopes to find Xavier after he heard about the events of X3. When he gets there he finds Moira, still confused about Xavier transferring to the coma patient, talking with Xavier. Quicksilver then says that Wanda is getting worse, apparently Pietro has been watching after his sister during the events of the X1-3. Xavier is clearly upset at this and Moira wants to know who Wanda is and what her problem is. Xavier explains that Pietro and Wanda are mutant twins and that Wanda's powers are too powerful even for her to control and she could do more damage faster than Phoenix (before people rip me apart for that, think Movie-verse wise and it could also be Xavier underestimated Phoenix the whole time). Pietro then explains that it is worse than Xavier thinks; Wanda is already starting to affect reality without any control whatsoever. (Maybe throw in the scene with Magneto moving the chess piece right there with Pietro V.O.) That leads to Xavier returning to the mansion with Pietro to make a plan with the rest of the X-Men but just as they are about to discuss what to do with Wanda, Magneto and his Brotherhood (Pyro, Multiple Man, Sabertooth, Toad, Mystique). The X-Men are about ready to fight (or there is a small battle between them in which either Xavier mind ‘freezes’ them or Leech shows up and says no more powers) when Xavier says he invited them because “The father should have a say in what happens to his daughter.” They argue and debate about it (maybe show/mention some of the effects of Wanda’s reality tampering abilities) while Magneto stays silent the whole time. He eventually says that his daughter must be dealt with in a more permanent way so she cannot cause anymore things to go wrong. Xavier says he is afraid that Magneto seems to be right about that. Pietro starts yelling about how he will never let anyone harm his sister not even Magneto after saying that he speeds off to Wanda.

In all honesty, I'm not really interested in continuing the X-Men movies from where X-Men: The Last Stand left us. If it was up to me, I would "restart" the franchise and begin with the "original 5", excluding Magneto and the Brotherhood.

The main characters would be:
Cyclops, Jean Grey, Iceman, Beast, Angel

With Professor X being somewhat less "up front" than in the other movies.

Cameos from other X-Men:
Nightcrawler, Storm

As for the villains... there would be a "part" of the Hellfire Club ( 2 of its members ), Arcade, Sentinels and of course Mr. Sinister, but far away in the background ( his role would get bigger in the following movies )

I'll add some details concerning the actual plot later, if anyone wants to know more :)

I was thinking they could really pull this off. How it could be done would be as follows:

Because Beast is involved with the government he lets Storm know that Trask is developing the sentinels and lets them know the base of operations as it poses a threat to mutant kind. Because Mystique is no more, you can now have Morph, who obviously has similar powers. Morph and Gambit could be the new XMen introduced from the beginning of the film. What should be done is the X Men who lost their powers, Rogue, Magneto, and Mystique start to regain their strengths because the antibody only lasts so long, it wasnt a complete cure.

Cyclops comes back, because he wasnt killed in X3. I still dont know how they could pull it off, but they can figure out a way.

While they show the Mutants regaining their powers the X Men plan to attack the sentinel base. Im undecided as to what the middle of the story should be but i believe you can reuse Magneto as a villian again with subtle hints at Sinister here and there, Juggernaut would again be there along with Pyro, Multiple Man, maybe Avalanche (although he wouldnt have a huge role) and Gambit who would start off as a villian.

You can also have various skermishes intertwined throughout the movie featuring some things we didnt get to see in the last one like Juggs vs. Colossus and a Pyro vs. Iceman extended scene, this time with Pyro winning.
Maybe with Iceman left dead so therefore the Rogue and Gambit relationship can open up.

During the fight at the sentinel base, This would be the big climax. The Brotherhood attacks and the X Men attack as well, however, during the battle Gambit notices that the Brotherhood are also taking out the guards, which leads him to leave the brotherhood, while this is goin on Morph gets blasted by a Sentinel, just like in the cartoon, and is "dead". The X Men leave with Gambit as the Sentinel base is defeated (this could be an amazing scene with both the brotherhood and the xmen fighting the sentinels)

The big twist at the end of the film would be that Angel, after being badly wounded, decides to leave the X Men and ends up goin to Muir Island where, Mystique (who regained her powers is disguised) shows him to Essex aka Sinister (credit idea to ExtraEpidermis). And Morph is being worked on as well...Start Credits.

Cyclops must be brought back for a sequel to work....not even showing his death on camera had to ahve some purpose.....I believe it was intentional to leave an easy out for his death

Couldn't agree with you more. It's just as vague and open-ended in the book. The only one who concluded he's dead is Wolverine, and there was no evidence save except for they couldn't find him.

They're up to something. They did this for a reason. Either they didn't have the guts to show me being blown away, or they're holding something back

Well for me it has to be all about Rogue, Mystique, Cyclops, Prof X and all because of what happened in X3... Like Rogue and Mystique getting their powers back and that Mystique wants vengance on Magneto... Scott comeing back and all because he isn't dead....
Villians hmmmm Mr Sinister would be cool and Apocolypse
