My dad told me about it when the first season started. He described how it worked and how it was in real-time etc, he was hooked on it but I thought it wasn't for me.

Then around when the 4th season was underway, I saw laying on the hallway table the 3rd season dvd set that my dad got for his bday. I grabbed it and took it back to my apartment thinkin 'what the hell, why not?' That very night I was obsessed with the show and bought the first 2 seasons and watched non-stop.

I got my best friend and my girlfriend hooked on it.

I love this show.

Ok guys I just finished watching the entire of season 5 and I must say this is the best season yet!!! There's wasnt one I mean one throw away episode in the entire season like it was before!!!! Every episode felt like the season finale or season premere! My god so many people died in this season It was unfortunte that the first episode of 24 I ever saw was when Edgar and Tony died but I didnt realize it was Tony that died until I saw the episode again. Well that was the epsidoe that made me bought the first season and the rest of the seasons all together! But back to season 5 dammmit who knew that President Logan was a traitor???!!! And **** whats going to happen next season??? who's to help Bauer now that everyone pretty much dead? Choloe? I dont think so....Damn those Chineese for putting me in this position!!! NOFX out!

Season 5 just kicked off over here in Australia.

Fortunately, I decided to sit down and watch through the 2-hour premiere. And I thought: "Oh, my God. This show is awesome."

This show is fast-paced, action-packed with great twists. Season five kicked off with a big bang. We just discovered that Walt Cummings was the insider. Wow, it was ****ing awesome when Jack held him a knifepoint, forcing him to spill out the location of the nerve gas. I actually thought he was going to rip out his eye.

Great acting, great directing.

I await the 103th episode on Thursday.

If you think season 5 is good, you'll love seasons 1 and 2. Season 5 basically stared anew so you won't recognize many of the characters, which will be good.
