His men are good. His women however look like trannies

at first look i was wondering how and why corsair was doing in this book...but tha'ts forge...my bad

I Kinda like the "Hobo from the Future!" look that Forge has going on.

Actually like this Arc, its a bit inconsistent but actually seems different, curious to see where it will lead.

I like this story, I suppose it's one of the few that have the X-Men taken on the active role in the crisis, if only it manages to come out, say, once in, well, two months.(Let's not give Bianchi too much pressure)

I love the French.

Every last one of them. From the tip of their berets to the edge of their thin unrolled moustaches. Especially the women.

Well, fresh from their “Clone Saga” scoop, Superpouvoir.com is running with the news that Phil Jimenez will take over from Bianchi Simone on the Warren Ellis-written Astonishing X-Men, and that a free sketchbook on Jiminez art will be available in shops in September.

I think Superpouvoir has managed to get hold of Marvel’s solicitations for September don’t you?

I love the French.

UPDATE: The Superpouvoir site is currently not working. I love the French even more.

So, could this be true? Thoughts?

Jimenez?

*single tear of joy*

He'd better be able to make this book remotely resembling monthly again.

*single fist of rage*

I'd be happy with anything that allows this book to ship on time. I can't keep track of what's going on anymore. :(

I actually could care less about what happened in this book since Uncanny is so good now.

Well, sort of good. I still think Fraction might be skipping over some stuff trying to juggle too many things at once. I still want to know what the **** was up with that Magneto thing, and now we got that whole thing with the Sisterhood that really wasn't explained well.

Ugh.. Uncanny is the worst book for me right now. The Sisterhood is boring me to tears. :( I'd rather read this instead.

At least this story is solid. Slow as hell, but solid.

You know what comic was really hitting its stride, but none of you bothered to read before it was cancelled? Young X-Men. [/bitter]

I was really enjoying UXM until the clusterf--- which was the last issue. Ive calmed down now and I think the main reason things went so badly is bc Fraction had to rush the ending. Why? Bc Marvel wanted a big summer crossover event throwing the X-men in the middle of Dark Reign. There were too many unanswered questions and dangling plotlines and I think he will get back to those eventually after this Dark X-men stuff is up

I read it. I liked way better than anything Yost and Kyle did with New X-Men. :o

I thought New Mutants v2, New X-men: Academy X and New X-men v2 were all better than Young X-men. They kept revamping this cast of characters and the last itteration was by far the worst

Yost and Kyle together...= NOTHING but non-stop death as ''exciting" plot twists. They are the worst writing duo out now.

Yost by himself is genius though, so I think it must be Kyle who throws him off or something.

i can sit here and point out (again) all the horrible artistic choices Bianchi makes, but at this point its like making fun of Paris Hilton. its fun at first, but after a while theres no more challenge since they make it so easy.

It doesnt even look like he finished penciling the characters in the background

Even if it comes out really late, I still like the story a lot. :)

"Emma Frost. I didn't recognize you with your legs together."

OH SNAP!

It was Forge. Not counting the cover and recap/credits page, it's in the second preview page up top.
