Well, considering that Giant Sized only just came out it's not that bad, really. :)

Giant sized? Oh man I haven't been on here awhile...im lost with comics are the moment lol.

Giant Sized was the big conclusion to Joss' run. :) 25 starts a new creative team if I am not mistaken. Maybe now the book will actually ship on time.

are they still going with that subtitle they announced back when they announced Ellis and Bianchi- i think it was "Astonishing X-Men: Second Stage" or "Second Genesis", "Second something"?

I hope this is going to be a good arc. the team seems different

Ok.........last issue I had Kitty was in a rocket? Did they not have giant sized out over here yet!!!

lol

I know I know I keep forgetting to come on here and check......just seen it online will buy it tomorrow :p

Whats that? Cause I need a different spurce besides Marvel.com
Diamond is the publishing company that ships our comics to the stores each week. They post the list of what's coming out each week on their site.

http://www.diamondcomics.com/public/

What's much easier is to stay here and go to the main forum index page, select Comic Books, and then Marvel. There someone very nicely posts the list for what's coming out next week. Easy as pie and much more accurate than Marvel's list which sucks. Plus, the Diamond list has the books for all the companies, not just Marvel, even tho it is posted in the Marvel section. :)

Tribal, elemental:huh: more like hot mess. And i dont see any thing kenyan or whatever in that costume. Her face is stronger than colossus' right bicep!! they gave storm little jingle tips on her cape. I dont know, bad costume, manly face... IDK!! Its funny yet sad at the same time how marvel would even let art work like that come out. anyone w/ sense can tell its a little too weird even for the artist.

Finally...somebody understands where I am coming from. I am half South African, but my father spent his youth growing up in Kenya. That doesn't look a lick like anything that is genuinely African. It looks more like a mockery because of its disgenuine effort. If he wanted something with an African feel, he should have observed the cultural regions of Kenya and found a better source inspiration as opposed to this half-formed idea of what Africans dress like. It's frustrating. I don't see Wolfsbane running around in a derby hate because she is Irish. I don't see Arania (not sure how you spell her name) in a Poncho. So why does Storm have to have poorly represent elements (Neck rings) and other elements that don't exist (jingle items at the end of a terrible looking cape)? Who is the Editor on Astonishing? Who even thought that costume looked good even when you get away from the fact that it doesn't look African?

I think I just order the issue twice by mistake lol Wops....anyone want to buy it lol

I'll just put it up on ebay...............I had a blonde moment .....lol. :p

True that!!! Being a Storm fan, it kind of annoys me how she's more sexualized. I know Storm doesn't mind being naked (based on previous storylines in the 70's and 80's). And I have no problems seeing naked bodies. But I don't think you'll gain respect if your wearing a piece of cloth and threads. People will only see you as a sex object.

And I don't see anything Kenyan either (as I have said in my previous post). She needs a modern sleek upgrade, in my opinion.

In the Sketchbook Special, it says Marvel was requesting Bianchi to incorporate the Xs placed on their hearts. I say it's a wrong move. I thought that Cassidays design was smart, modern, and believable. I was sad that for a costume so perfect would be replaced by something less appealing. Emma for example, has a huge X. It looks Blah!!! It was perfect the way it was before. Colossus' futuristic look reminds me of the short-lived The Revolution era... and I'm guessing it's also short-lived. It doesn't leave a mark on my brain. Not classic. Very forgettable...

I know it's been four years since Astonishing X-Men came out. But do they really have to change looks...?

Logan wuz sleepin' inna tree in his undies. :p

In the variant, Storm's arm is behind her back.

I hope this is not all of the visor-less sex between Scott and Emma that Ellis promised.

The X-Men gets donation? San Francisco people must be quite open-minded.

here's hoping Bianchi only stays on for one arc. and here's hoping everyone will go back to their previous costumes. :csad:

and why is Cyclops visor-less. Ellis knows he doesn't control his blasts anymore right?

cyclops looks more like a woman than emma. and did u mean y is he not visor-less?
