That's the thing...the writing on Astonishing is rather fantastic and the story interests me...but the art...oh the art. :(

I still like it. Bianchi is one of my faves, but to each their own. :p

I think the art in Young X-Men is just fine. Or do you mean the dude who butchered the first 5 issues?

I was talking about Yannick or however his name was spelled. He was horrible on Ultimate X-men and he pretty much killed Young X for me. :(

The horrible writing, shoehorned new characters, and lack of most of the old crew killed young X-Men for me. :(

I like Yannick Pa...(how ever you spell his name)'s art. I hate Ben Oliver's though who I think is doing the art on Young X-men now.

Just read Ghost Boxes and I am not sure I like it. I sometimes struggle with alternate reality crap unless it is written well. This was sorta meh... to me. :(

I havent been reading this book. Has it gotten any better?

Yeah, it was pretty pointless. I regret buying it. I'm liking the main story in AXM though

Is the next issue delayed?

If so then Bianchi really should forget about his complicated-designed futuristic background and coffee maker and just concentrate on finishing his drawing.

What makes you think it's Bianchi? Ellis has been late on every book I ever read from him. :(

it'll be nice when i break into the comic business so i don't have to worry about deadlines anymore.

You met Subject X in the pages of ASTONISHING X-MEN. But what was he really doing and who he was doing it for? Find our in the second issue of this special 2-issue tie-in series to Warren Ellis and Simone Bianchi’s opening salvo on Astonishing X-Men! Ghost Boxes is about the real stakes of the Ghost Boxes storyline, and what will happen if the X-Men fail to solve that mystery.

OMG...the art. And Hank looks like 100-year-old teddy bear without getting dry cleaning for once.

Though Logan in a wheelchair is kind of funny.

I like it too. :) Even if Hank looks a bit...odd. Wonder why Logan's legs are all messed up. Did the metal get all bent?

It says right there in Hisako's narration boxes that the metal got all bent.

Also, seeing these substitute artists pop in for Ghost Boxes makes me all the more pissed that we're stuck with Bianchi in the regular series. After reading part of Grant Morrison's Seven Soldiers, I've found that Bianchi hasn't always been this bad. He's just grown lazy over the past couple of years. The man is somehow putting less effort into his art, and it's taking forever.

Maybe they are just rushing him and he really needs more time. That could be making him sloppy....

LOL, I dunno, I was just sayin'.... :p *doesn't mind Bianchi at all, rushed or otherwise*

is Bianchi handling Ghost Boxes? thought it was someone else

I think it is someone else so that Bianchi can have more time to catch up. :)
