Wow. Wow. Great issue.

The Hellfire Club attacks the X-mansion! Scott is comatose. The real Beast is unleashed. Logan is brainwashed into a kid (which, of course, explains the terrified Logan on the cover), Kitty is phasing non-stop into the earth (to the Breakworld, I think. Was that Kitty in the end? Where the heck is she?) and Emma may be having second thoughts.

I loved it. Colossus versus Shaw was

Too bad he got owned, though. I look forward to the next issue. 2006-08-23 Seems so far away.

It was a hell of an issue. I was surprised at just how intense the action in this issue was.

Oh, yeah. It was action-packed, definitely. The interesting part, though, was when Ord (that half-faced green alien from the earlier AXM issues) and the Danger Room robot chick were being imprisoned by S.W.O.R.D. It'd be really interesting to see both of them returning to fight the X-Men again.

I'm unsure as to where Kitty is heading in the end of the book. Maybe the Breakworld, I dunno.

Interesting issue. A lot happened but it really left me wanting more than I think it should have. I mean we still don't KNOW who is going to destroy the breakworld. We don't KNOW what is wrong with Scott. We don't KNOW the HFC's master plan. We really don't KNOW anything more than we did before the issue began.

Edit: Never mind. I just realized that she was cursed by that creepy clown what's-her-name, so that she wouldn't stop phasing...right?

Yeah, she phased past all the lava, but when she managed to make herself tangible again she was in some sludge... so I have NO clue where she's supposed to be now. My knowledge of geology extends as far as dirt -> rocks -> lava. And even then it's a little sketchy.

I love his facial expressions SO much. They really make him look like a little kid trapped in Wolverine's body.

It's also funny to note that he used scissors to cut out the paper dolls.

This was another great issue that left me dazzled...WTF happened to logan..LOL...that was so funny..and it was brilliantly action packed and the HC attacked left the X-men crippled and and only kitty is left to attack...Whedon's Mary sue of course.....
