So the Hellfire Club is after some gadget of Xavier's, referred to only as a "manger", and so heavily protected that not even Xavier's own people can access it.
And we now know our Breakworld-destroyer: Colossus, ironically, the mutant that Ord resurrected for the purpose of defeating the Breakworld-destroyer. Since Colossus' power levels do not suggest that level of ability, it's either not a direct result of his power (ie, some action he takes), or else he's about to get a major upgrade.

Y E S :D

Why doesn't Danger coming back make sense:confused:? Villains always come back. In fact, they said outright that it wasn't over and that she was going to come back. Making her work with Ord and bust him out of prison was one of the coolest and most sensical things to have happened, imo.

The more you think about it, the more Perfect makes sense. Oh sure, it's still blindingly confusing, but look at all the hints that Whedon is dropping; the visual cues to mirrors and Emma turning on herself...Look at the roster of people who are in Emma's "Hellfire Club"...all of them are individuals who represent a key element in Emma's life.

A lot of people had the notion at first that this was all just Emma going insane and none of these Hellfire Club members actually existed...this idea was more or less discarded when we saw that they were real people walking around the mansion, but now I think we may have to give some credence back to that theory. We've got some villains who shouldn't really be working together (Shaw and Nova) and then we've got some people whose existence is all but impossible (Warhead and the White Queen).

Anyway, loved this issue as usual. Kitty was awesome. Wolverine was hilarious. The revelation about Colossus was intense; it looks like this character is gonna go through a lot in the next arc. And I think it's pretty obvious by now that
Blindfold
is the mole at the mansion.

Well, I think Whedon managed to come up with an identity for Perfection that no one on the internet had guessed.
Look some pages back, some of us did guess it.

I did like this issue, but it wasn't worth the two months hiatus between issues

NO seriously the spoilers are too tempting. I so want to look but at the same time I'll pick the issue up the issue this afternoon.

My favorite panel is the one with
Kitty's fist coming out of the mirror with the reflection of Emma getting owned

Yeah thaty was awesome. For me the shocking thing was not really who perfection was,but the fact that Kitty could see her.

^ I think it's just an illusion cast by Emma, because it's pretty weird to have all those dead characters alive again and an exact body double of Emma

Trivial sidenote: I was reading this at the call centre where I work, and one of the guys working beside me thought that the cover said The Admonishing X-Men, which just gets more hilarious each time I look at it ("Don't do that, or we'll reproach you!").

Ha, ha, ha! "I see Apocalypse is on the rampage again. We shall have to speak to him quite severely!" Y'know, with Logan's current speech pattern, I can easily imagine him doing this. :)

But to get back to the comic, I wonder how SWORD got ahold of Danger. Didn't she take off with a wild Sentinel in issue 12?

SWORD didn't get a hold of Danger. They didn't know she's on the ship. She was there specifically to bust Ord out, to serve whatever purpose in her grand plan.

What I don't want is for Colossus to die again by the end of this arc; cuz that's the first thing I thought when I saw that last page. :(

I really liked this issue (especially when Kitty went after Emma), but there are too many things I want to know! How is
Colossus
supposed to destroy Breakworld? What is Danger up to? What is in that "manger"? Is
the White Queen
an actual person or some sort of psychic construct? (Onslaught in drag!) Will Kitty get to whup on more of the Hellfire Club members? I WANT TO KNOW!!!

As for the major upgrade Colossus may get; maybe his organic steel gets replaced by some of the metal on Breakerworld. That'd be fantastic.

I don't think he will die, he was resurrected only 2 arcs before, and he is a fan favorite, i found this feature on IGN about caracters that should stay dead, and Colossus is not one of them.

Poor Jean, she doesn't deserve to stay dead. Besides, she's the Phoenix, we know she'll be back eventually.

How is
Colossus
supposed to destroy Breakworld?
Unless he gets a secondary mutation, I can't see how he's gonna do that either
. I just hope Whedon has a good explanation for it

She's always back

For the destroyer:
I'm sure it will be something where if Ord had not resurrected Colossus/tried to stop the destruction of the Breakworld, the situation would never have occurred.

As for Perfection:
It's entirely possible Emma went diamond, smashed back into the Mansion, and got changed into her old outfit wtih the robe, acting out one of her personalities. Or that it's just a projection.

The Destroyer of Breakworld:
Okay, so it's Colossus. No surprises, there. I think all of us have theorized it'd be Peter at one point.

Honestly, I don't think it'll be his powers that get Breakworld destroyed. I think Peter will do something that anyone could've done. And that will be the ultimate irony: not only does bringing Peter back to life as punishment for saving mutantkind cause Breakworld to be destroyed in the first place (Predestination Paradox), but he will have done something that had nothing to do with mutants.

For anyone who says this issue went by too quicky: you waited 2 months for a magazine that typically takes 5 minutes to read. This issue would've had to have been special in some way (rather than your typical part 4 of 6 comic issue) for us to not be disappointed.

I take a good 10-15 mins to read my comics depending on who writes them. I was done this issue in like 5 and still had time to go back and laugh at Wolverine's facial expressions.

I know he's my fave and I like him as a badass, but I can't help but love how Wolverine is in this issue. It wouldn't have been as funny with anyone else. :)

"I shan't prize my life above my honor Unless you think that's a good idea."

LOL. Wolverine is gonna be a kid in the next issue too I'd suppose, what with the cover and all.

I still think it's hilarious. :p

The negasonic line was the funniest to me.

''Who's the kid?!'"

''Negasonic Teenage Warhead."

''Wow. We really have run out of names..."

I've thoroughly enjoyed Wolverine's (or should I say, James') dialogue over the last two issues. His inner monologue in the tree and then after the 'moose' leaves are hilarious. :D

Kitty/Emma was awesome. I literally had the same verbal response as Kitty to the Perfection revelation. I gotta do some research on this Breakworld deal 'cause I just jumped into this arc around #12 or so. At any rate, this is good stuff.

Perfection's hair was shorter than Diamond Emma's. So unless she's confident enough to cut her own hair that fast then Sinister's been cloning again. Ha ha!

I think that the person you called the mole was actually talking to Emma I think its a double bluff.

Could I just say that this issue rocked I swear my head exploded about ten times with everything that happened during it. All hail Weadon.
