Just got Batman 711, Batman and Robin 24 and Detective Comics 877. I loved Batman 711 for some reason. Can't wait for Batman and Robin 25 though. :)

I personally didnt like seeing Gilda again. At least Daniel saved it by [blackout]having her help Harv.[/blackout] Under a better writer this could have been an eggs-ellent story.

Lol... why did i make that pun? Hehe...

I thought Batman 711 was okay i kind of dug how Riddler was written

I didnt need to see one of Riddler's henchmen vomiting on another though

Tony Daniel will make a sidekick for every supervillain. After the success (sarcasm) he's had with Catgirl and Enigma, prepare for Croc-girl, Penguin-girl and Two-faced-b****.

Daniel should stick to his ****ing artwork. the bastard should not be writting the relaunched Detective Comics.

Scarecrow is going to get a sidekick named Crow Girl

She pecks people and steals corn :ninja:

I saw no need for enigma. ****ing sidekicks

It's a character he didn't create but felt he could use for an story arc, is it really bad that she has a female assistant whos young instead of random thugs with Riddler styled clothing? I mean, really?

What happened to your optimism?

I've had a rough day, probably shouldnt have called Tony that, and I do like his Two-face story so far, aside from one or two minor nitpicks. but when you consider that Grant Morrison is writting the new action comics 1, you would think that DC would get another high level talent to write the first issue of their namesake, Its not so much that Daniel is a bad writer,he's a fairly decent writer. it's just that he really isnt anything great.

This!

Aw Oberon, if you wanna pull off some steam you can always talk about it in the Lounge. <3

I understand what people mean, i guess Detective Comics #1 is suppose to be something major or "legendary". It's hard to say was noone really willing to write it and just get Daniel illusturate it, who knows, or maybe he can surprise everyone with his #1 which he's bene working on for so long, some people are more optimistic due to all the experience he's had with Bruce-Batman scripts with Morrison, time shall tell.

I'm liking the Two-Face story, i just find it really funny how nuts Two-Face is withouth his coin, it has good pacing but i hope the ending pays off big time.

He really gets Harveys desperation without his coin and his instability, I don't Think thats really been explored before, aside from maybe Arkham Asylum. It's those kind of chances and exploring new ground that I think will allow him to grow as a writer.

Earle got banned huh?

Just when I was starting to warm up to him. :(

I question what Earle could have done that was ban worthy.

Yeah, did you notice the Charlie Sheen jokes? Granted Daniel is 2 months behind, but i chuckled.

He was always starting a bunch of dumb arguments, and he was one of those people who couldn't actually argue with someone without outright insulting them. He seemed to be getting a little better recently, though, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was like that elsewhere.

I liked that as well i thought it was a pretty interesting look at just how much Two Face needs that coin of his

Scott Snyder Podcast on Batman
- Snyder's initial arc and plan is a 12 issue story arc that focuses on Batman and Gotham, it's basicly about the symbol of the Bat and how ever changing Gotham city is and how easily the Bat and Gotham itself can influence people to the good or to the bad or something else.
- Basicly it can question is this going to take Morrison influence when it comes to Barbatos and Darkseid, like how Milligan had Barbatos curse Gotham more or less, or how Darkseid caused torture to Batman thru time, but this is also how Gotham and Batman came to be more or less. Obviously the only real reason to assume the Morrison influence is because Scott Snyder to my understand is a Morrison fan, but i doubt he'd go all Morrison sci-fi for a arc thats suppose to be new friendly.

Ai caramba what happened to Two-Face! Did his right eye finally rot or something? Note i'm not complaining about the artist, but the eye does make me curious. Joker looks like the Prince of Chaos and music one way or another, and thats pretty awesome if you ask me. :awesome: Gordon looks charming, fatherly and cool. =)

What is going to happen to Kate? I'd hate for her to disappear. Rucka is god...
