I've actually liked his Batman Beyond. I consider it to be his only good work from DC.

It's anime inspired that might have something to do with the effeminate looks of the guys.

With that said I love it, then again I love anime/manga so there's that.

I think that Batman is one of the best characters to draw in comics. Unlike most characters, he really works well in almost any style as long as it's a good artist: manga-styled like Kia Asamiya or the ones posted on here, Image style like Jim Lee and Greg Capullo, very stylistic like Fraizer Irving, Dustin Nguyen, and Frank Quitely, a more cartoonish style like Bruce Timm and Damion Scott, old school style from Bob Kane and Dick Sprang, etc.

Very few characters can be draw with as many styles as Batman can.

even in manga-style, Steph is still adorable........:hrt:

and Cass looks like ready to kick a**. :word:

too bad both will be benched in the relaunch..........:csad: :cmad:

Gates of Gotham #2 keeps delivering, you got Gotham's history, you got the 4 big families of Gotham where we learn more about the Elliots, Cobbpelots and the very Gates of Gotham themselves, and yeah steam punk inspired armor for the win! Hush's written perfectly here! Shows how much he hates the Wayne legacy and we finally see Damian and Cassandra Team up, and it works right as it should be, with Damian insulting and being disappointed at meeting the real life figure instead of what the stories he's heard.

Couldn't agree more.

Someone on the Hype once called him the renaissance man of any super hero out there let it be DC or Marvel. It's an apt description I think too.

No character has fit in so many different genre's and art styles as flawlessly as Bats.

Neat i will be checking out the new issue of Gates of Gotham this week  thought the first one was pretty good so I think I will definitely be reading the rest of this series

And I :hrt: the steampunk armour

Damians put downs to the other Bat-family members always amuses me

I like his interaction with Dick most of all because its obvious he really does like his 'big brother' :)

I'll be pretty bummed if post relaunch we don't still get some good Dick and Damian interaction. At least with Nightwing still being in Gotham there's a solid chance that we'll be seeing some for awhile.

I also like Damian's small rivalry with Tim. Fun stuff.

Yep i hope that even though he us going back to being Nightwing we still get to see him hang out with Damian

I am kind of interested to see what his interaction with Bruce is going to be like too

I'm looking forward to being able to read Dick while never, ever having to see Damian ever again post-relaunch.

Yeah that'll be cool especially since other than the one-shot Morrison did bridging B&R and Inc we haven't gotten to see Bruce go on a mission with Damian.

Personally I really like his interactions with all of the Bat family members. There's really just so much complexity involved with them that is also easy to understand. Damian looks up to Dick the way Golden Age Dick looked up to Golden Age Bruce, Stephanie looks at him with pity, he's jealous of Tim Drake and now the same feelings of jealousy and feeling threatened are passing onto Cassandra Cain.

Haven't read Gates of Gotham issue 2 yet but I am pretty interested to see how Cass interacts with all of the Batman cast now she's back

You need to pick it up. Damian treats Cassandra the same way he treats Tim. He feels threatened and jealous of another adopted Wayne child.

I hope he can get over that inferiority complex of his. He and Cass have a lot in common with their back stories

Yet another reason why he would feel threatened by Cassandra. And she's more skilled than he is. The only one-up Damian has on her is that he's a biological child while Cassandra is adopted.

He claims he's unimpressed with her, which I suspect is because she's not reveling in how much of a badass she is. She's actually ashamed of her violent past and f***ed up upbringing, as opposed to Damian.

I think Damian isn't exactly proud of his anymore now that he has started to realise just how messed up his mom is

But yeah Cass > Damian

I mean i dont hate Damian but i just love Cass. I just think she's such a lovely hopeful character. She turned away from her violent past and became a hero :)

And she kicks ass and she's cute too
