So according to DC's website Batman Inc will triple ship in August.

Yep. I think it'll be exciting like Batman and Robin #12-16 which was a big season finale, here we got Batman vs. Leviathan and the big Leviathan reveal at #10.

Except that we won't get a real conclusion, since Leviathan will still be active in Morrison's next series.

Season 1 twist ending for the next season!

though it was well drawn and had plenty of action, sirens just basically took the whole concept and character they built and flushed it.

shame a decent series

These are comic books, goddamnit. There are no seasons. :cmad:

Reading Newsarama about what some of the writers for Gotham character titles have in store, i really wish they would just leave the waynes alone and stop trying to add on to them. Just let them be normal rich people, do they have to have a dirty little secret?

What about Top Ten

Alan Moore called the first two volumes of that season one

Do you question the wisdom of Alan Moore

He's a Britt.

You people call your seasons, series. You're all messed up on terminology. :o

A friendly reminder Arkham City # 3 is out and it's defiantly worth getting as it continues to set up the stage for the upcoming game .

I've never really been one to buy prelude series to games or movies, as they never really seem to have any impact or standing with the game itself. Surely, there will be plenty of gamers who buy Arkham City the game, yet not the min-series, and have no interest in doing so.
I don't see how they would make the game in such a way that it leaves you too terribly in the dark if you don't read the series first, as it'd hurt its enjoyment and reception by a lot of its players.

Thus it seems more like fluff than necessary reading. Enjoyable fluff maybe, I haven't read it, but fluff nonetheless.

So Batman Inc was pretty great, nice and heartwarming. Plus we get The Tron issue next, hell yeah.
Detective Comics though, incredibly messed up. If Synder can make James Jr that creepy God knows what his Joker will be like.

Hungry City conclusion came with 3 surprises to me, all which we're pretty intriquing and 2 which i rather liked.
First we got the Tiger Shark's design reveal, i was really wondering how they we're gonna update his classic design and when you 1st see it, you might think he's just a bland business man with a red bandana, but it's so much deeper than that! Jaguar, King Cobra, Angel Sharks! Tiger Shark is the king of predators! This is such an great act! The level of detail and imagenetive creativity is so awesome on this bad boy. I love how Dick is just "eh you're just a criminal with an act, i got you scum like you covered since i figured out the Joker" which is awesome. It's also really hyping how the bad guy gets away, setting up for the inevitable return, perhaps Kyle Higgings will use Tiger Shark?

the 2nd surprise is the Sonia Zucco reveal, she's a smart woman and she kinda followed on her father's footsteps, but she was pushed there because of the legacy she carried, but she still wants to be on the good side of people, but she just had to cross the line to defend herself.

The last reveal, well i dunno i'm kinda mixed feelings. They really played was James Junior this psycho guy, and yeah he he is, i dunno i guess i really feel bad for James Gordon? I mean yeah i love to read more, but at the same time you really feel bad for the Commissionaire that this kinda crap happens to him. =(

I absolutely loved Batman Incorporated #7, i mean yeah it's now true that the delays are caused by Batman Incorporated ending with #10 since #7 and #8 we're suppose to be dedicated to Man of Bats and Raven Red (here simply called Raven) but i don't know, is the fact all issues are standalone issues with a bigger plot tied making it stronger? This issue gives such a huge impact, i mean it literally made me a fan of Man-of-Bats to the point i'd wanna see this guy have an ongoing, i mean holy moley was he AWESOME, you know why Man of Bats is awesome? He's Thomas Wayne for pete's sake!
Man of Bats works as a doctor, helps the drug addicts and other poor people with food packages and well health care packages in general, he's a veteran at war having gone to Iraq, not to mention this badass quote right here: I'll put the first five of you in full body casts for 18 months. Even wounded. So who wants to take first shots? This guy is the Father of awesomeness, hip hip hurray!

Raven is a teenager who wants a bite at glory, he's a young spirit full of potential and he realizes what he's doing is argubely even greater than fightning giant robots or evil masterminds, i also loved when he and Batman we're at the Man-of-Bats cave and you can see Bruce smiling when he talks about his ideal: Batman on a Budget, oh yeah!

Leviathan keeps getting bigger and bigger with the big reveal coming in #10, who or what is Leviathan? Right now we got the usual mind control drug that makes a person a complete slave and committed to crime doing, we also know Leviathan is making villains into super villains and thus Batman is responding this by making viiglantes into Batmen. So it's a man of heroism againts a man of crime, so is Leviathan Joe Chill? Joe Chill's son? Is it still the original Batwoman? I still kinda hope Leviathan reveals to be nothing more than an ideal, not a singular evil person, that'd creep out Batman because he'd realize he's not fightning just a mere madman with a dream, but insanity incarnated.

I love that line "Batman on a budget, it really works dosen't it." Just the way Bruce said it, with that little grin on his face.

Hahaha that was a great little line of dialogue there

And yep I just absolutely adore Man of Bats and Raven. Those two make great additions to the Batman Inc team and Morrison wrote them so well. I loved the clear similarities between Man of Bats and Thomas Wayne and he also reminded me of Dr Midnite. Definitely dig how Morrison is writing this character and i want to see more of him

Detective Comics was sold out at my shop though :csad: it sounds like a really good issue looking forward to reading it when i get the chance

Well apparently Odyssey gets a volume two instead of continuing the original numbering. I hope they still collect it in a single trade.

O-KAY. The rest of BATMAN ODYSSEY. the last 7 books will begin with issue 1 Volume TWO. First issue in October. WHEW!

Don't ask me why. It's their company, and their business.
It's not part of the massive D.C. relaunch, and it is
THE story, rising like a rocket to the final tragedy-drama, Batman's unbelievable Odyssey

That last page of Detective was a swift kick in the balls, and I mean that in a good way. These last 3 issues are gonna be INSANE.
