Yeah, makes you wonder sometimes how comics would be different if certain writers would have released more stuff.

"To Kill A Legend", "Time, See What's Become Of Me", "Interlude on Earth-Two" and "The Autobiography of Bruce Wayne" are some of my favorite Batman stories.

Cassie/WG has had the worst time since OYL started. Not even a reboot can get the character back to her former glory.

And how can Tim have had so much character development only to have that all taken away from him. Now he doesnt even have his own solo and will just be the lead in TT just because he is a Robin. SMH.

Yes nothing to worry about. Tim isn't an ordinary kid who decides to leave the keyboard and become the leader of superheroes who are being kidnapped by super villains.

Batman would mostly slow his falls, not glide like he does in the Nolan films. He used a special glider for that, not his cape. I mean Morrison did make it a big deal that B&R would test their new para-capes, otherwise what was the point of that exposition?

But yeah, you said fly and i doubt he will. I mean i dont imagine him flapping those things to actually fly. Falcon does because he has flight powers or whatever.

I actually like Red Robin's. Superboy's isn't that much different from what he wears now, so I find it tolerable. Same with Kid Flashes.
I'm undecided on Wonder Girl's. It looks like she's about capture herself in her own lasso of ...red energy... something.
Who are the other two in the pic? I don't recognize them.

Tim's costume is cool but I miss the cape and tights . Is Tim's Robin costume suppose to be a glimpse into what Robin would look like in the Batman Beyond universe ?

How did Beyond get into this? Its just a new design for Tim because lets face it, his RR one wasnt a huge success or anything.

I'm not enough into the Titans to know much ... but the Tim costume isn't too bad. Distinctive, still clearly a Robin variant. I like the cape thing.

I'm not sure what's going on with Superboy -- how do you give a tattoo to Superboy? I'll need to see it from the front. What's with the taped thing? If its a joke from the flash guy ... the introductory image is a lousy place for that joke.

Flash is OK, at best. I'm not even sure who the other three are.

Tim's new costume is definatly awesome, but Superboy and the rest just look... so Extreme.

So the latest B&R, or should i say, Jason Todd and B&R.

- An action sequence that takes half the book. Jason + B&R vs those Thundercats guys.

- Some woman has abducted Scarlett and wants to exchange her for Jason. If i remember correctly her mask fell off at the end of Morrison's story and she supposedly was leaving to restart her life. Yet here she is back in costume and with Pyg's mask still on.

- So instead of putting Jason behind bars and then going for the girl, Dick decides to team up with him. Not just that, but they allow Jason to get armed with guns. In other words they re teaming up with a killer. Damian is ironically the voice of reason here telling him how stupid he is. I mean, if you re not gonna do the exchange and you re just going for the rescue, why not jail him?

- Damian now talks like normal people like "this sucks". I dont care for character development if that means that Damian doesnt speak like some stuck up lord. Damn you Winnick.

- Horrible art.

- They waste mail space for a guy arguing with his son on who would win, Batman or Martian Manhunter and for some kid who wanted his letter to appear on the book. He just sent his letter saying "i want to see myself on the mail page". Couldnt they respond with an email and use that page for better mails?

All in all, this is just Winnick highjacking the book to tell a Jason Todd story and probably fix whatever he didnt like in Morrison's RH story. Dont buy it, dont even pirate it.

Tim's Red Robin costume looks better...and that's the nicest thing I have to say about that cover.

I need to see a better version because it looks way to busy. A good superhero costume is one where you can draw a crude sketch and people know who the character is. I am missing the cowl though..

All in all, this is just Winnick highjacking the book to tell a Jason Todd story and probably fix whatever he didnt like in Morrison's RH story. Dont buy it, dont even pirate it.

I gotta be honest, I hated what Morrison did with Jason. And Tony Daniel before him.

The whole Red Hood arc made my skin crawl. Jason was just really...creepy. Which is not inherently bad, it just didn't feel consistent with what had came before.

I can't blame Winnick for wanting Jason to stay "on model."
