I like Dick in red. I've said this before, but just because Dick is a more lighthearted doesn't mean he has to necessary look friendly; even Spider-Man can look a little sinister. The red eyes, I think, are a nice touch--they contribute to the trickster look that I think is generally appropriate for the Robin-based characters.

The chest design is also much better than the old V shape.

Fair point

I will be interested to find out what made Dick decide to go back to being Nightwing rather than keeping the Batman identity

It must hurt Slade's ego that Dick has been beating him up since the days when he was just a teenager

I really hate the red eyes on Bart and Dick. Makes them look evil.

Does Bart have red eyes on the Teen Titans cover

All i can remember about it is the horror of Wonder Girl's new costume and lasso

I wonder if Steph is going to go back to being Spoiler now that Barbara is Batgirl again

I really hope we get to see her and Cass in the Batgirl series when it starts

Red eyes and collars are the new pouches and jackets and gigantic guns.

And pants. Don't forget the pants

Seriously they had better find an excuse for Ivy to be naked every issue of Birds of Prey

Or I'mma be :csad:

Yep I am really excited to see what Batman: Leviathan is going to be about and to see Batman Inc taking on Leviathan and Dr Dedalus

Is Batwing going to tie into it i wonder

If theres any tie in I imagine it'll be very loose.(hehe loose)
Also I wonder what sort of ending we'll get with Batman Inc 10?

We'll we learn who Leviathan is, part of me hopes it's a nobody, no ancient villain, no man or woman holding a grudge towards Bruce... there is only LEVIATHAN, HAIL LEVIATHAN.

Maybe it'll be some ancient Kane that was made immortal by some form of evil metatextual God from the 4th world. :wow:

If it's gonna be a Kane it's probably gonna be old school Batwoman? :p Tho it better be some pretty shocking relevation to justify Bruce going "okay Dick and Jiro, you two can't be Batmen anymore, oh and Damian i'll train you instead of Dick"

I hope we see more of Damianbats like in Batman #666 and #700. Morrison uses him to give us hints of things to come and resolve any loose ends of his plots. I'd also like to see his clone and maybe they ll fight in the future with the clone becoming Damianbats' archnemesis.

He could be the "fatherless" too for all we know. That fatherless guy said he's someone Damian knows so... that's interesting.

Of course Morrison likes to leave subplots unresolved and lots of material for his successors to work with. I guess that's how he saw Damian and Talia's relationship and he wanted to have the clone there even if it doesnt fit in his plot at the moment. He might adress it in some future Batman related story, who knows?

I think that the Fatherless is definitely Damian's cline that Talia had created. It makes sense and it would be a really exciting story too to see Damian take on his warped clone

Hopefully it will be an epic of epicness

Having just gone over my Batman must die hardcover, Ive noticed that Traktir (spelling?) mentions to Bruce that the giant monster corpse in that pit was that weird "fatherless" guy's womb . later on Damian emerges from it. potential foreshadowing?

And Damian's clone literally is fatherless as it was grown from his dna

And it would explain why it was wearing a bat-costume

But do we really want Leviathan to be connected to the Ghul family? :dkm:
