I think it's inevitable at this point. The Al Ghuls have loomed over Morrison's run and season 2 is suppose to feature Damian.

Yeah and Ra's is the only one of Bruces established rogues other than Joker to have appeared in Morrisons run in any large context, even tho it was a crossover. Still, Leviathen seemed intent on destroying the world, and that seems to go against Ra's ideals.
It's a conundrum.

Ah well aslong as it's not Sensei i'll be happy. Yeah Talia has gotten some attention here and there in B&R Mainly the whole Damian clone, but what was the point behind Resurrection of Ras' al Ghul again? Was it Morrison and Dini really wanting to bring back Ras' and then establish that Sensei was actually Ras' father?

To make Ra's one of those albino twins from the Matrix? I don't know I kind of glossed over that story.

But do we really want Leviathan to be connected to the Ghul family?

Maybe Leviathan will have stolen the clone from Talia for their own diabolical plan to take over the world

Batwoman issue one! oh my gosh I am so excited i just cannot wait to buy that this september. And the first story arc sounds fab i cannot wait to read it and find out what J H Williams III has planned for the character and the series

Batgirl sounds like it might be really good to. Can't wait to see how Simone writes the character now that she is a costumed crimefighter again

Birds of Prey and Batman & Robin both have my interest I think it might be pretty neat to see Damian and Bruce fighting crime together and the new Birds of Prey team looks like it might be pretty entertaining. Though I kind of doubt it will be as good now that Simone isn't writing it

And Batwing might be kind of neat. I will check out the first few issues and see what i think of it.

Awwww but Snyder's Batman comics have been really good Earle. I think he might write a great Joker too

I think Birds of Prey will at least be well written, the new Writer has done some great crime novels, and his Cable series was a great, sweet story. The cast dosent interest me, but that's the only slight I have against the book.

Higgins says Nightwing will be "the best Nightwing he's ever been," with his experience as Batman having improved him. He also says Dick will be based out of Gotham--which is a massive, massive plus for me.

Taking Dick out of Gotham never really felt right to me--even though I understood it was necessary to establish him as his own man. I'm far more interested in seeing him and Bruce operate in the same city, though--as equals.

Wish he was still Batman, but I'm definitely giving this book a look.

Even when he was in Bludhaven they never really put that much effort into his supporting cast/ personal Rogues gallery. Hopefully Higgins will work on this.

He was all about hitting on his married police captain's pants. Speaking of which, he should totally be a cop again. Nightwing could be half Nightwing, half Gotham Central.

I would buy that book. But seeing Dick as a cop in Gotham instead of Bludhaven would be freaking sweet.

...but I loved Dick in Bludhaven.

I liked his series while he was in Bludhaven, but Bludhaven honestly never had much of an identity to me. It felt exactly like Gotham, only Batman didn't show up as much.

I think that's why I liked it. It was close enough (in distance and characterization) to Gotham for Dick to feel at home, but was still somehow separate. Has Bludhaven been rebuilt yet since that Chemo guy was dropped on it back during that Crisis?

Nightwing, Bludhaven, Blockbuster, etc. were pretty awesome during those first ~40 issues...

Everything went downhill after Scott McDaniel left.

I'd like to see him around for Dick's new series. Is Blockbuster still around? Seems like I haven't seen or heard anything about him since he was in Dick's Nightwing run.

I never read that story. Once Scott McDaniel left the book, so did I. I've always felt like I was missing out on some good stuff, but part of me just doesn't want to drop the money on it.

Not while Dick watched. He was aware of it, but I don't think he actually witnessed it. But the fact that he actually was aware and let it happen haunted him to the point that he basically went into shock, which is when Tarantula raped him. I think she also hit him with some kind of drug too.
