Yeah, yeah, but did Aquaman and WW not kill a lot of people that had nothing to do with their squabble, and are they not Superheroes?

It doesn't matter why, it matters that they did. The Joker is a victim of circumstance. He was a guy who lost a lot of money, and got in with some criminals who made him dress up like an idiot and he got knocked into some freaky chemicals and went insane. Still doesn't excuse the thousands of people he's killed over the years. So yeah, Evil Superheroes.

I'll even toss in Evil Superheroes, plus time travel used to set up the circumstances to make them evil. Been there. Done that. Bought the t-shirt. Returned it because Evil was spelled wrong.

i hate when you form opinions on stuff that you don't know anything about.

2. You hate Flashpoint and you haven't read any of it
3. You hate Damian and you've read only the early stuff, none of the character development

They're not superheroes, they're leaders of their people and yes there is alot of colleteral damage, but trying to put the blame on the mere leaders of their people is stretching it afar, especially when they're being backstabbed and emotionally controlled by the most obvious villains ever: the Royal advisors.

Face what? I'm not denying anything. I figured Green Lantern would suck and rated it a 0 because pretty much every review has confirmed that, plus I was bored that day and not a lot else was going on on the Hype. I've never said I hate Flashpoint, I've just said that I'm completely uninterested in it because it's an Elseworlds story that won't have any bearing on anything once it's over. And Damian is a little c**t, plain and simple. Character development's all well and good, but I've read recent comics with Damian and he's still acting like a little c**t to everyone, so I guess I've missed those issues where he somehow blossomed into a wonderful paragon of humanity to be embraced by all. I'll stand by my opinions--which, by the way, are opinions, so the idea that I somehow have to back them up to prove something to you or Assy McGee is ridiculous to begin with.

Vertigo Hellblazer John Constantine is one of the few characters in comics who ages real time. Constantineis in his 50s and married right now while the DC version who basically is carrying on from his apperance from the old Swamp Thing comics of the 1980s in DC is in his 30s and isn't married and is alot like his old personality

Well honestly the heroes in Flashpoint are more victims than outright villains, yes alot of innocent men have been killed by the Amazonians and they either train the women to their cause or prison them, Aquaman is using Geo-Force as a living weapon, but they're written as characters who have doubts and regrets of their actions. Batman's full of vengeance because his son Bruce died and Martha became a Joker who kidnaps children and murders them, Cyborgs the only good person out there pretty much alongside Frankenstein, we don't know will Superman hate humans or what, but this isn't a universe where Batman is replaced by Owlman or something.

The point of the review thread is to review the movie you've seen, NOT what you've heard about it. You don't go rating Thor a 10/10 because you liked the trailer, you see it and rate it. >: (

Thor was a 10/10 in my mind after the trailers. Watching the movie just confirmed it.

Of course it was; I suspected Niceiza, because only he would do something so stupid and inappropriate for the character's current direction.

The character was already turning a moral corner in Batman & Son, nevermind all that's happened since then--and Niceiza decides "HURR, I'LL HAVE HIM TRY TO KILL TIM, DURRR."

Nobody's saying that happened, because him being a nice person has nothing to do with whether or not he's likable as a character. Whether you like a jerk-character is, of course, your prerogative.


Incidentally, I gave Green Lantern a 5--because that's the lowest score I'll give to a product that isn't blatantly stupid or offensive. It's the score you get when you haven't done anything completely awful (like nipples, ice puns, or turning Catwomain into a Crow ripoff), but you haven't done anything right, either. Their hearts were in the right place, they just completely failed to bring it to the level it needed to be.

I like how you aren't posting the next page, nor would something like that stop a Batman, granted if it was Jeph Loeb's Batman trained Robin, then yeah he'd be a goner. Robins are too trained to be killed off by something like that. Fact.
