I think I might check out his Dark Knight series then. I like some of the rogues showing up in it so I'll give it a chance

I think I'm going to try it too. It's Batman, so as long as it's a passable story, I'll enjoy it.

nothing much happened in finch's previous dark knight series, but I still like it for the art

Yep the story was fairly forgettable. But if a new writers on the Dark Knight comic now maybe this one will be better

Batgirl out this week and Batwoman out next week t:

So its a pretty fabulous fortnight for bat comics. Is anyone else going to be checking out that Penguin mini series

I usually like stories that go into why the Bat villains are so crazy and what made them like they are. So I think I'll get it

Don't know what it is but I'm not really interested in the Nightwing series, it'll definantly be well written and the art looks good but really seems like a giant "Meh" to me.

I'll probably check the Nightwing series out but I can't say I'm all that excited about it right now

In the CBR interview, he said his real problem was giving his stories any meaning or sense of depth. The way he phrased it, it seems like Jenkins is taking over completely.

Yeah, from what I gathered, Finch has given up writing completely and is content on just being an artist. He gave it a go, but he realized that he just isn't a writer. I'm 99% sure that Paul Jenkins is doing all the writing with Finch doing some creative collaborating in the stories.

I guess he probably comes up with plot and story ideas and Jenkins does most of the writing

I don't think he even does that.

As when CBR asked him if he'd ever like to try writing again, he said he'd like to one day be a co-writer.

Which insinuates that he hasn't done that yet.

I can't understand how Batwing is even on that list, RoughNTumble. I think I would read Hawk and Dove before reading that. The name "Batwing" is even the most unoriginal thing ever.

I don't think it's bad. And judd winick's interview with CBR and talking about doing a superhero in africa and really taking advantage of it being set in the continent sounds very interesting to me.

Thinking of maybe checking out Batwing I've heard some good things about it. If I dig it I'll buy that series too

Batwoman and Batgirl are going to be fun on a bun covered in sauce for sure cannot wait to buy the Batwoman issue one next week

Birds of Prey looks pretty interesting too. Though I am appalled by Ivy wearing clothes on the cover

She's supposed to be naked plant lady hawtness. Poison Ivy wearing clithes is against all the laws of nature

That's pretty encouraging I hope that his run on Birds of Prey is as good as Simone's was

Nothing certain as of yet but it seems really likely that she'll be showing up in Batgirl

I'm pretty sure she'll also show up in Batman Incorporated once that starts back up again in January.
Least, last I heard she was.

I'd like to see Morrison write a proper appearance by her and not just a cameo

I'm not familiar with the writer or artist on birds of prey. If I was, it might be higher on my list.
