Anyways over at CBR they posted an article from the latest con (whatever the **** this one was?)
Chris Burnham, Mike Martz and Greg..Cap..Capuilo?, uh the Batman artist.
Chris Burnham said that a lot of Inc is basically about Talia's early life and is very sad.
Mike Martz said that there are no current plans for Steph Brown as they dont know how to work her into the current bat titles.

I'm somewhat happy Martz just up and up admitted that they werent going to use Steph. I prefer blunt honesty to sugar coated lies (looking at you Gail Simone.)

snyder knew how to work her in but had to create a new character since they wouldn't let him...smells like marketing is making the creative decisions

Maybe Simone thought she would be able to use Steph but then found out she couldn't

I hope they'll be using Cass even if their not using poor Steph right now

Until then I'mma just imagine that Steph and Cass are off having adventures beating up Dracula's on segways and/or on honeymoon together

and how'd you know Snyder had any plans for her? I don't remember hearing that. I'd be thrilled if it were true, though. You'd think they'd let Snyder do pretty much whatever he wants, considering the popularity of his Batman runs.

Red Hood & the Outlaws is one of my favorites. Starfire's behavior has been explained in story and overall the book has been great.

Well, the original Teen Titans sort of existed, but without most of the team. Starfire was there and so was Dick, and they were banging. But without constant exposure to people she forgets them, but she explained the reason she is attracted to Jason was because he is similar to Dick. But yeah, she hasn't seen Dick in ages so she's pretty much forgotten him.

DC always does this. They make weird, arbitrary decisions about which characters are allowed and which are off-limits, then they f*** up any stories that run counter to that. Before Steph being locked out, it was the Vertigo stable; before that, it was any other Kryptonians; etc.

I don't really get that. Why forbid writers from using characters if they have ideas for good stories with them

I can understand why they didn't let anyone but Morrison use the Joker during Batman & Robin because he was hiding as Oberon Sexton but I don't get why no one can use Steph right now

Barbara is Batgirl but they can just have Steph be Spoiler again
