yeeesssss, something to be excited about. i seriously doubt it's reilly but i trust slott when he say it's gonna be "pretty cool".

is there a clone saga tpb?

There's a Revelations TPB, a Lost Years TPB (3 issues about Ben's life on the road), and a Clone Genesis TPB (which covers the 1970's clone saga that first introduces Ben). But there's no complete box set or tpb of the Clone Saga (yet?).

Because Marvel likes to pretend the Clone Saga doesn't exist instead of just admitting to the fans of the series that they made a mistake in it's handling that ended up burying the many good concepts they had with issues upon issues of convulusion. Although I do believe they could make some good money on this set. In regards to past Spider-Man stories and new readers I find that often the Clone Saga if one of the stories that most Spidey newbies are interested in, along with secret wars/venom saga, gwen's death and Kraven's Last Hunt.

There won't be a Clone Saga TPB 'cause it spans too many issues and titles. You'd hafta batch up every story into it's own an' then release them like that. Yer lookin' at a good 30 TPBs that way. Probably just hafta be satisfied when the Essentials get up there.

Yeah, sums it up. It would take about the length of J. Michael's run or more to make a whole collection for the saga. About the only thing worth the saga was Ben and Kaine.

Sometimes i think that a Clone Saga box set release would happen to coincide with a Ben Reilly return. Seems like something Marvel would do.

lol no worries dude I figured as much....... clones did get mentioned 2 or 3 times in newsaamas interview with the new asm writers, but just comments like "we're not allowed to use clones" etc....

well that dosent look very good for a ben return , unless its a "from now where not allowed to use clones" type of thing.

i've always wondered if there was actually a mandate saying "no clones in spidey books"...do you have the links to these interviews spidey-dude? i'm kinda curious now.
