Hm, this is odd but I just now thought of Norman as Batman and Harry as Bruce Wayne. Norman is the Green Goblin more than he is Norman Osborn. Sometimes I think Bruce is more Batman than Bruce. Harry puts on the costume, but he's still Harry. He even thinks of the costume and the weapons as his father's things. It reminded me of Alfred telling Bruce in Batman Begins that Wayne Manor is his home and Bruce says, "No, its my father's home."




I read far too many comic books.

^^ Well, there was a very cool ending in the recent issue of ThunderBolts. Wish I had a scan. Anyway, speaking of that issue, it was so cool to see norman talking with the President. Just something about it seemed very intense.

I saw the latest Thunderbolts. Good issue. The ending was fun. "Who do you think?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

I was surprised that the President wasnt clearly made out to be Obama. He was clearly a black man, but his face was obscured. I wonder why they did that. If Obama had clearly appeared in the issue, maybe it would have sold a million copies like ASM 583 did.


And no, I have no idea how many copies ASM sold.

Good point, Demogoblin. Though, it doesn't really bother me atll, but i see what you mean. In one panel, though it was dark so you couldn't see his face all the way, bu from the way I saw it, he looked alot like Obama ine one panel, but as I said, it was dark.

LOL! Beautiful irony. The art is gorgeous too.They did something similar in Hobgoblin Lives!, where Spidey is riding the glider, towing Kingsley behind him.

At the top of the pic it looks like it says ASM 595. Could this be a cover image?

Ahh, yes, I saw this image earlier today. Tbh, I think it's an awesome iamge, but at the bottom it says "after Ditko". It should be "After Romita".

I like the shadow on the mask too. It gives the scene an ominous look. Then again, with the Goblin, its always ominous. t:
