I never cared much for the Spider-Girl artists. I dont like how they have Norman/Peter grinning like that constantly. It makes him less of a person and more a cartoon of evil.

And yes, I see the irony in that statement.

Its actually Peter. Fury the Goblin Queen took a page from the Master Programmer and downloaded Norman's brain before he died. She then uploaded it to Parker's brain.

The New Green Goblin in the current Amazing Spider-Girl arc is Peter Parker.
It is all part of Project: Changeling, a final revenge plot by Norman Osborn. When Baby May was kidnapped, Norman cloned the baby and tinkered with both babies to insure they will development Spider-Man's powers. One baby was put into the care of Philippe DeJunae(Father of Fury, the Goblin Queen) and the other was kept in Norman's care and more enchancements were made to that baby.
Kaine rescued the Baby May that grew up to be Spider-Girl and the other stay in a statis chamber for 16 years.

Norman died in a final battle with Spider-Man that cost Peter his right leg.
Before Norman died, he uploaded his dreams, thoughts, his very essence onto his brain enchancer claiming their was one logical heir to the Goblin Legacy, with Harry dead, we all know who that one is.
For the better part of 16 years this final revenge plot was forgotten until Philippe stumbled upon the chamber with the other May, arranged for Normie Osborn(Normie is reformed and an ally of Spider-Girl) to accidentally stumbled upon it while on his honeymoon.
Fury kidnaps Peter on orders from the Goblin Cult and she objects to Peter being the heir and would rather much prefer Normie to take his place(she later finds out Peter is Spider-Man and tries to stop the process). Peter is hooked up to the brain enchancer, he also had the Goblin fomula exploded in his face, and now Norman is in control of Peter's body.

That is basically it.
I felt out a few details in case anyone who is not reading ASG is interested in this final arc from that book if they would like to read it without being spoiled.

Hard to believe though it may be, not every villain in the Marvel Universe thrives on physically locking horns with the powerful heroes who stand between them and their malicious goals.

For every Rhino or Absorbing Man who enjoys a good scrap with the Thors and Iron Men of the world, there exists quite a few baddies who prefer to take a behind the scenes role, pulling the strings and manuevering pawns into achieving their ends. That's not to say these master manipulators can't get physical when need be, they'd just rather leave that stuff to the hired help.

This week, the Secret Cabal names the 10 individuals they believe to be Marvel's premiere evil masterminds.

Also, in an unprecented move, two Cabal members could not sway the rest of the group that either of their picks deserved to be the sole holder of the tenth spot, so we gave them each a chance to plead their case—you vote who deserves it more in the comments section, via Twitter and in the poll here in the article!

It was pretty good. Didn't much care for how soppy the Ben and Peter scenes were.

Personally, its my favorite Goblin story. Norman is truly at his most cruel in this arc. He just kicks the crap out of everyone in his way: Reilly, Parker, Stromm, Seward Trainer, Jameson, etc. They had a sort of "directors cut" TPB years ago, featuring an "extended cut" of Norman beating the hell out of Reilly and the afterward of Peter scattering Ben's ashes.
