Exactly. Hurting someones feelings is one of the weirdest but easiest and funnest ways to hurt someones feelings.

Well...its not so much that its funny for me, as much as he hurt someone's feelings. You want comedy? See some stand up. You want bastardliness? See the Green Goblin.

Wicked awesome fanart of a 19th-century Green Goblin.

"A rich Industrial man of the end of '800 , with the passion for the new technologies, the science and occultism..."

ETA again: I can't even see the image--here, at http://denism79.deviantart.com/art/Norman-Osborn-19th-Century-58607559

Also, I realize now that maybe occasional bouts of humor from Norman are why they end up being so funny/striking to me... If they made him do it too much, that certain charm may be lost.

They were into some freaky stuff in the 19th century so thats not too far from "reality." Alternative reality stuff is always cool. Here is the Green Goblin...from India.

I want to see him go up against Ultimate Green Goblin. A battle of the Hulkified Goblins!

I've been interested in India for a long time so I guess thats why I didnt mind it. I preferred it over the Japanese versions that are out there. I never understood the fascination with Japan, myself.

Really, my only problem with India Spider-Man is the fact that when Spidey and Goblin go at it, theres no story really. Hes just a demon, and he randomly knows who Spidey really is, and thats about it. I like a little background story or at least and understanding of how things happen

Its been a while since I read it but I thought it was pretty well explained.

Because pictures are fun.

I remember India Spider-Man! Thought it was pretty cool. Think spiderfan.org gave it a good review.

Ah, the last picture--I do like Spectacular version better now, but 90's STAS is still awesome, and I really got a kick out of Gobby all dressed up in a judge's gown.

I miss Gobby's glove blasts. I wish they showed up more often in the comics. :gg:

While I've gotten used to the Spectacular Spider-Man's rendition of the Green Goblin, I still prefer the Animated Series art. Its just...I dont know, more how I would envision the Goblin. More realistic, I guess. Even if I do like Spectacular's glider more.

I think people like animated series GG a little better is because
1: He looks like he did in the comics
and 2: People who like it more grew up with the show.
Know what I mean?

Thats certainly true in my case. Its funny how the first thing you come to know is always "the right way" and subsequent versions or ideas dont measure up. Not always fair but thats the way it is.

Spectacular Goblin is definitely more devious than the 90's Goblin, which I appreciate. :gg: :bomb:

A video with Green Goblin with Spectacular Spider-Man clips:

Pretty much in agreement.
