I finished my Green Goblin retrospective and thought I'd share it in this thread. I personally am not as proud of this as I was my Doc Ock retrospective but I'll let you guys decide. Hope you all enjoy.

Hmm, not bad. Good trip down memory lane for me with TAS.

Good video. Its interesting to see how the character has been handled over the years. Too bad so many people use the Goblin in a cheesy way. Well, at least he is better used in the past 20 years or so.

Hey my name is Aaron, and I've bookmarked this thread. Nice to see so many goblin fans here.

First off: Welcome Aaron. Good to have some new blood in here.
Second off: I'm not gonna call you Aaron. How about Pumpkin? Or Pump? How about CP?

Thanks for welcoming me here. CP works the best, I guess. Do folks refer to you as ST?

I've read almost every Spidey book from the sixties and seventies. Did you guys know that Gwen's death wasn't referenced as nearly as much as it is nowadays? I'm in 1980 now, and I'm noticing Stern referencing it a lot more.

Also I just read the first appearance of Kingsley, did you know he was a skinny effeminate fashion designer? Man, did he come a long way! In my mind it was the Hobgoblin that gave Spidey the best fight so far. Can't wait to reread the classic Stern / JRjr stuff from the eighties.

I do have some missing gaps in goblin stories post-Revelations. So I can't wait to get to the modern era too. Maybe I'll skim over a lot of the nineties.

Thanks again for the warm welcome.

You ask, I supply (not really)

Really awesome!

Nothing much to say, except that I love how Gobby's face goes from irritated to sadistically gleeful as he sees Spider-Man.

I just picked up Spider-Man Noir yesterday, and am personally a fan of "The Goblin". It was nice interpretation of the character. All in all, a nice interpretation of Spidey in general. I'll have to pick up the other Marvel Noir books. Any opinions?

I've never read Noir. Whats their spin on Goblin?

Read at your own risk, it was spoiled for me.

Norman Osborn is a crimelord known as "The Goblin", because of being a sideshow freak due to facial deformities. His close henchman are Kraven the Hunter (who takes on a very gentleman-like composure), the Enforcers, and the Vulture (a cannabalistic freak).

Personally liked the concept of it all. It sounds like a bit much coming from me I can imagine, but it all works very well.

Ah, what could have been...Yeah, I had to draw another Hobgoblin...I draw in a cartoony style anyway, so I may as well use his cartoon incarnation. You have to admit that black Kingsley's little afro is PERFECT for Hobby's hood.

Well, I tried. I wish I knew how to color in something besides paint (as paint mangles the picture a bit)

Just because its so epic:
