I'm getting the 'Goblin tat' from the Osborn series tomorrow! Will drop some pics when I can!

I'm really starting to feel the inevitability of my getting that tattoo some day. It is..my...destiny.

This place is deader than Uncle Ben. We need some art.

I'm impressed. I actually havent seen that one before.

Me neither. Kinda looks like Gobby is trying to lead Spider-Man into a trap.

This is actually a really cool picture from the musical from this article.

But Norman Osborn is a grey haired southerner who likes to express his concerns for the environment... Hence becoming the GREEN Goblin.

 Wow. Cameron's movie script sounds absolutely inspired by comparison.

hey is this strictly just a Norman/Green Goblin thread or can we discuss other goblins as well?

Curious to see what everyone thinks of Phi Urich killing Roderick Kingsley and taking over the Hobgoblin identity.

If anyone interested in the details

Kingsley finds Phil in one of the secret Goblin lairs and is about to kill him but Phil reveals he can still do the goblin lunatic laugh which scrambles Kingsley's brains. Then he decapitates Kingsley with the new flame sword.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that maybe it was the brother in the costume and not Roddy.Only since Kingsley has used stand ins to take his place and get killed.

Question, didn't Phil when he was the hero Green Goblin lose to the Jason Macendale Hobgoblin?Been a while since I read the series.

Yes looks like it so far, maybe its a twist. My thinking is Kingsley has used stand ins before.Plus Slott said in interviews how they are taking the mystery of the Hobgoblin and spinning it on its head.

If not, boy is it a real slap in the face of the Kingsley/Hobgoblin fans.I guess it would be like if Ock was gone for a while then brought back only to be pwned by Ollie Osnick.

Dude, spoilers next time. I hadnt read the issue yet.

Yeah, it looks like Roderick bought it. Hard to say as he was wearing the costume. Maybe he sent a stooge in his place. Thats what I'm hoping anyway. Surprising to see Phil so gleefully homicidal. I wonder when he became a raving lunatic. Even as the Green Goblin, he never killed anyone.

Sorry about that,I apologize for not marking spoilers.Been out of the single issue for a while now and I just read the trades.I just happened to be at a comic store today and saw the Hobgoblin cover, didn't know it was street dated for today untill someone pointed that out on another board. The store didn't have a new label on the shelve,so I had assumed it been out a while.Plus I had been been away from the hype for a few years,so I don't know how the spoiler setting work.

Normally I avoid looking or reading the single issues for spoilers,I don't even know what as happened after OMIT yet.Though being a big Goblin fan and seeing Hobby on that cover it caught my interest to peak.

I'll have to pick up this issue as there are just too many unanswered questions!
