Good little read on casting call below.....

Yeah, Rachel McAdams, Rose Byrne, Evangeline Lilly, Keri Russell, Michelle Monaghan or Anne Hathaway would work for Carol Ferris. Looks like the writer mentioned a few of mine and other fans suggestions also. I highly doubt Daniel Day Lewis would come onboard as Sinestro, but it would be a coup and great if he did!

I still think the WB's, Campbell and the producers can't go wrong with Weaving, Isaacs, or Viggo Mortensen as Sinestro.

The age limits make things interesting. Take Sinestro - mid 30s to mid 40s. At 49, Hugo Weaving's now probably too old. Jason Isaacs is 46, so he might just still fit within the age range, but it's at the older end of the spectrum. But I think we've all been skewing pretty old - it could be intriguing to start considering the possibilities of more 30-somethings in the role.

well i am sure they would love to get someone like a hugo/isaccs/etc... on board same with for other characters.

You know, anyone else think Brad Douriff could make an interesting Hammond?

i would be down with him he was chucky right? but isnt he a little on the older side now?

True. He doesn't have to be very young or anything. Can you imagine him with the big head though? That would be scary.

Him as Wormtongue really sold me on it.

He would also give the character much needed dimensions.

Dourif would be spectacular. If you imagine him doing something like Wormtongue, its easy to see it

I agree. Dourif is a fantastic character actor - at his most superb when he plays a villain.

I'd be totally stoked to have him involved in this project.

maybe we can luck out, but it will probably go to someome else. Cant wait to see who scores the rest of the leads.

well since casting has barely started, i hope to hear something from the production team (Visual effects, locations, etc) soon.

Probably when they cast more actors in Green Lantern.

well since we know the film isnt starting up to around march compared to thor's in jan. We are still over 5 months before GL going to start. So i wouldnt be surprised if we get news in next two months.

I highly rate Brad Dourif, great actor.

But isn't Hammond supposed to be a love rival of Hal's at first? Well, he wants Ferris too. I don't know if Dourif could fit that role.

In the script, Hammond has nothing to do with Hal or Carol. He is just a scientist who is assigned to look at Abin Sur's dead remains. And I do think they beefed up his role here making him have a connection to them somehow.

If you watch him as Wormtongue in TTT, his character is in love with Eowyn and has this creepy yet noticeable way with it.

i like Brad, but I see Hammond as a creep but a decent looking creep. Like if he cleaned up his act, then he would be a decent guy for a girl to date.
